Honey walnut shrimp was delicious. Best sauce I have had in a long time.

Whenever we visit any major USA city, we mandatorily visit their China Town be it New York, LA, Vegas, SFO, Seattle, Portland or Salt Lake City.

We selected this option after going through online review and this was highest rated. Have to say, we weren’t disappointed. The food was extremely delicious especially the Firecracker Shrimp Noddles. We also ordered the Imperial Chicken, Schezhuan Dumplings and Cream Cheese Wonton, and all of them were delicious and reasonably priced.

This place is a must try and highly recommended to lovers of this cuisine. The ambience however was not very much upto the mark and the restroom didn’t seem clean and that’s where it’s a 4 star instead of 5. But if we come to Salt Lake City ever again, we will definitely revisit this place.

Fantastic Dining Experience at Charlie Chow’s Dragon Grill

I recently dined at Charlie Chow’s Dragon Grill and had an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. I began with the appetizers and indulged in the Szechuan dumplings and pot stickers, both of which were absolutely delicious. In particular, the pot stickers stood out as some of the best I’ve had in Salt Lake City.

Moving on to the grill, I was blown away by the variety of flavor combinations and the freshness of the ingredients. Each bite was a burst of tantalizing flavors, and I found myself impressed with every dish I tried.

Overall, my experience at Charlie Chow’s Dragon Grill was nothing short of fantastic. The attentive service, delectable appetizers, and mouthwatering grill options have left me eager to return for another delightful meal. Highly recommended!

Really kind staff, fast, delicious. Love the Mongolian Grill (Make Your Own) where you choose your own ingredients (type of noodles or rices, type of vegetables, sauces, proteins) and the chef made items are great too ie. the schezuan dumplings/pot stickers. The Boba is good too, even better than some Boba specific spots I’ve been to which is a nice surprise!

I am not sure why this establishment has such good ratings but I’m here to say that my experience was not only sub par but disgusting. To begin with my soda was flat and the glass that contained the soda had old food stuck to it. I had ordered shrimp fried rice and it tasted like sanitizing chemicals. Another member of our party had the noodles and the texture was extremely slippery, more than a noodle like this should have been. We also had ordered orange chicken and that tasted of vinegar. Hopefully I will never be in a position where I am obligated to go to this restaurant again. In fact, now may be a good time to see if the Utah Health Department can pay them a surprise visit. In closing, the only reason they received two stars rather than one star is the server was fairly nice.

Wow! I just had the most amazing experience at Charlie Chows! It was my first time here, and our waitress politely walked me through the steps for ordering from the buffet.

For my first bowl, I opted for a chicken teriyaki version. You walk down the line and pick your noodles, veggies, and other toppings, and then you choose which sauce you would like. When you are ready, they have these colored sticks labeled for each meat choice, ” such as black for shrimp,” and you hand it over to the cook who mix everything together Mongolian style. There was practically no wait between plates. Everything came out super fresh and hot! For my second plate, I went with a seafood version where I opted for low mein noodles, rice noodles, veggies, shrimp, and scallop. I added a few scoops of sweet and sour mix with one scoop of teriyaki, and it came out delicious!

She was on top of our drinks and at the end let us make to-go boxes (which is usually unheard of at a buffet).

I liked how they offered chocolate dipped fortune cookies at the end!

PS: My child wasn’t super hungry, but they let us get a bowl of rice from the buffet without having to pay for the full price for it.

10/10 recommended, and I can’t wait to go back!

They have booths or tables available. We were seated quickly, service was wonderful, very friendly, and kept our drinks filled during our visit.
Great selection for Mongolian grill, love the different types of noodles available and the way they have the meat selection options set up- with skewers to indicate your preferences rather than raw meats laid out buffet style. Food was cooked quickly and brought to our table. The food was good, everything tasted fresh, but the 3 bowls we had did seem a bit overcooked, with burnt noodles. We didn’t mind, the bowls were still good, and we would return. Fortune cookies dipped in chocolate were good. Would recommend.

Mongolian grill is a complete racket and a scam. They have you use plastic tags to indicate what meat you want alongside your veggies and starch. Then they hardly put any in it. You can tell they are skimping hard, even if you put multiple tags. You’re mostly paying for stir fried veggies and rice. Absolute garbage. Other places let you select and portion the meat you want, but not here. Do not come for the Mongolian grill thinking you’re getting a deal, they are cheating you.

But hey. Chocolate covered fortune cookies are food though.

SOOOO good and such flavorful Mongolian food. Can’t beat the price when you get ALL YOU CAN EAT for $15-20. You can load up your plate and the service is always amazing . I use to go to a place called Lees Mongolian in Ogden and when I moved to SLC I was so happy to find Charlie Chows !

10/10. I got jasmine tea, fried mantou, and stir fried chicken. Maria gave me a takeout container for the last half of my chicken and cabbage– it’s a lot more food than you would think. All the food came out piping hot and fresh. Good enough service for a 60% tip
