We selected this option after going through online review and this was highest rated. Have to say, we weren’t disappointed. The food was extremely delicious especially the Firecracker Shrimp Noddles. We also ordered the Imperial Chicken, Schezhuan Dumplings and Cream Cheese Wonton, and all of them were delicious and reasonably priced.
This place is a must try and highly recommended to lovers of this cuisine. The ambience however was not very much upto the mark and the restroom didn’t seem clean and that’s where it’s a 4 star instead of 5. But if we come to Salt Lake City ever again, we will definitely revisit this place.
I recently dined at Charlie Chow’s Dragon Grill and had an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. I began with the appetizers and indulged in the Szechuan dumplings and pot stickers, both of which were absolutely delicious. In particular, the pot stickers stood out as some of the best I’ve had in Salt Lake City.
Moving on to the grill, I was blown away by the variety of flavor combinations and the freshness of the ingredients. Each bite was a burst of tantalizing flavors, and I found myself impressed with every dish I tried.
Overall, my experience at Charlie Chow’s Dragon Grill was nothing short of fantastic. The attentive service, delectable appetizers, and mouthwatering grill options have left me eager to return for another delightful meal. Highly recommended!
For my first bowl, I opted for a chicken teriyaki version. You walk down the line and pick your noodles, veggies, and other toppings, and then you choose which sauce you would like. When you are ready, they have these colored sticks labeled for each meat choice, ” such as black for shrimp,” and you hand it over to the cook who mix everything together Mongolian style. There was practically no wait between plates. Everything came out super fresh and hot! For my second plate, I went with a seafood version where I opted for low mein noodles, rice noodles, veggies, shrimp, and scallop. I added a few scoops of sweet and sour mix with one scoop of teriyaki, and it came out delicious!
She was on top of our drinks and at the end let us make to-go boxes (which is usually unheard of at a buffet).
I liked how they offered chocolate dipped fortune cookies at the end!
PS: My child wasn’t super hungry, but they let us get a bowl of rice from the buffet without having to pay for the full price for it.
10/10 recommended, and I can’t wait to go back!
Great selection for Mongolian grill, love the different types of noodles available and the way they have the meat selection options set up- with skewers to indicate your preferences rather than raw meats laid out buffet style. Food was cooked quickly and brought to our table. The food was good, everything tasted fresh, but the 3 bowls we had did seem a bit overcooked, with burnt noodles. We didn’t mind, the bowls were still good, and we would return. Fortune cookies dipped in chocolate were good. Would recommend.
But hey. Chocolate covered fortune cookies are food though.
