I got an egg everything bagel sandwich with egg, mozzarella, and bacon—it was so good! Everything is made fresh! I came back twice and will be stopping by one more time tomorrow morning before leaving town.
They have so many cream cheese flavors, though they’re not homemade. The staff are so nice and welcoming!
This is a grab-and-go spot—there are no tables or seating inside for visitors. 100% recommend!

Hot Bagels & More
Every Sunday, my family and I have Hot Bagels & More for brunch. This has been going on for months. My husband has been going since he was a child; his mom would take him on trips to see family up north and she’d stop for a special treat at this same location. He has gifted us with this tradition on a more frequent basis.
I was not a huge fan of bagels in general at first. Usually, they’re toasted too much, or they’re too tough, and I find them hard to eat. A national supermarket brand bagel worked just fine for me on the rare occasion I wanted one.
But… Time sure changes this sometimes… And I LOVE Hot Bagels & More. When Ive had a tough work week, I know the staff will be there – reliable as always – taking our order quickly and with precision. The cooks nail it every time, regardless of when we order or what it is. The lightly toasted bagels we get are truly lightly toasted. The bagels aren’t too tough on the inside and have a nice, shiny outside. They add enough cream cheese to feel indulgent without going overboard.
And the selection! We get a savory bagel, a spicy bagel, and a sweet dessert bagel to share, and it’s always fun to come in each week to see what new sweet cream cheese they have on offer.
French toast bagel with apple cinnamon cream cheese, chocolate chip with gingersnap cream cheese, cinnamon sugar with pumpkin cream cheese… I mean really, as a person who thrives and adores novelty, Hot Bagels & More has it for me in spades. They have really fun bagel varieties without being too trendy: no dubai labubu chocolate here, just great riffs on staple varieties like pumpernickel rye & egg everything.
They serve it fast & fresh as well. I mean – they are quick here. On a busy summer day in July, they still get it out quickly and high quality.
And let me speak to the last point I wanted to review: the staff.
I don’t know any of their names, but it is so nice to see them every week. They are polite, prompt, and personable. I absolutely hate being chatted up as a regular and this is the one place that I’ve been acknowledged as a regular without being held up by annoying conversation. “See you next week,” they will sometimes say as we finish the transaction. My husband and daughter like playing around while we wait for our food, much to my chagrin (I rein them in when I can). The staff doesn’t acknowledge it, and I so value flying under the radar like that. We go to HB&M in pajamas, unwashed hair, just rolling in to get our Sunday brunch, and it’s so nice to not feel judged of out of place for breaking social rules like that.
The group of men & women staffing Hot Bagels & More at this location are the delicious chocolate chips in an already sweet cream cheese, to me. They are an underrated bonus to an establishment that already converted a bagel hater to a bagel lover.

Whenever I’m in OC or Somers Point, I always stop in for a bagel. Delish. Lines are long but move quick. Staff seems to be hard-working and friendly . My favorite is the french toast flavored bagel.

Bagels are good, staff was very friendly while I was having trouble making up my mind. I picked up a ‘summer salad’ with berries, veggies, and a scoop of cranberry chicken salad. It was delicious and enough to share. Haven’t tried the soups yet but I picked up two kinds because they look delicious.

I decided to try this place for the first time and went in around 1:30. The girl looked at the grill, which was clean, and said, “I’m sorry, we’re closed.” I mentioned that the posted closing time was 2:00, and she rolled her eyes and said, “I guess so.” I ordered two bagels with bacon, egg, and extra cheese — but when I got them, the bagels weren’t toasted and there was no cheese. Needless to say, the fact that they couldn’t even take the time to toast the bagels or add the cheese wasn’t the worst part of the experience. What really stood out was the poor customer service — the eye-rolling and attitude were completely unnecessary.
