Samantha’s is the best! They’ve been taking care of us for years. I couldn’t recommend a place any higher. Food is outstanding and great size portions. Service is fast and friendly. Price is ridiculously cheap. Best spot in town!

I recently stopped by Samantha’s restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While the place was busy, we were able to get a table, but the service was lackluster. The servers seemed slow, and it honestly felt like taking our order and bringing the check was more of an inconvenience than anything.
The food, sadly, was below average. I started with the vegetable beef soup, which was a major letdown—there wasn’t a single piece of beef in it. It tasted like bland, unseasoned vegetables. The hot roast beef sandwich was equally unimpressive, with soggy bread drenched in flavorless gravy, and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes with zero seasoning. I barely managed to eat a few bites, even though I was starving.
The person I was with ordered the tuna salad sandwich and mentioned it was the worst they’d had in a while. Given the lack of quality in both the food and service, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place and have no plans to return.

We often go to Samantha’s and while the wait staff is usually nice and friendly it is often accompanied by long waits and mistakes. We enjoy the food mostly but often something is forgotten or out completely. Today we ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches with sausage for take out. when we got the take out order home there was no sausage which is a 1.29 up charge (for each we had 2 ). so we called hoping to get it taken off the bill. they said that that was not possible. we could either come back to get the sausages (not worth the 3 dollars in gas there and back) or leave an IOU for us (not knowing the next time we’d be in seems unreasonable and improbable that it would be remembered if its months until we come back). We paid with credit card and Samantha’s charges a 3% card fee. If I am paying a card fee I feel like the flexibility and modern convenience is also expected of being able to adjust issues when they occur. Also if they weren’t only using paper tickets this may not have gotten lost or been an issue in the first place. (or the multiple of issues that we had in the past may not have occurred) over all we like Samantha’s but it feels like we are paying for their unwillingness to step into the modern world especially when they charge us for it.

Samantha’s has been a family favorite for three decades! They give generous portions, the cost is reasonable, the servers are good, and you can find good down home cooking. I have met friends there for early morning breakfasts for years. The coffee keeps coming. You won’t be disappointed.

I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to come here. It’s a pretty nice, renovated diner. The eggs, pancakes, and french toast that I had were great and we’ll priced. The staff was really friendly and it didn’t take long to get seated. It gets pretty crowded on Sunday, so either go early or come in late (12:30 or so). In the event you arrive after the place closes, It’s connected to another restaurant that has dinner food.
