Falafel King in Bloomington delivers excellent, fresh food with impressive speed. You order at the counter, and while the components are prepped, everything is assembled to order, resulting in a virtually nonexistent wait time. The quality and taste are definitely a step above, and the portions are generous. While the $20 price point, including a drink, is higher than some nearby options, like a vegan burrito, the superior flavor and quantity make it worthwhile. Gyro cheese fries, Gyro combo and a Gyro plate is what we ordered ! All of the food was amazing and very filling and the cashier/Cook was very friendly. the only downside was that it was so quiet, they could do with some tunes!

Absolutely must visit. When I was younger my only expereince with them was their booth at the State Fair, the food was amazing and although they had a locayion in south minneapolis where I grew up, I never did visit but alway wanted to so we drove past this location and had to try. It briught back memories and the food is amazing. The hummus is so smooth and perfect. They have fresh pita chips, humus and fresh hot sauce (which wasnt super hot) for sample. The staff was super friendly, knowledge and welcoming. It was the owner’s son and a female working the counter. Our meals were amazing. The balklava was great. This is a great location and will be a go to for us. The one note is the parking lot is very busy, people are always flying in and out, from the other two busy places of chipolte and jimmy johns. Handicap paroing is limited and the wgole beughborhood is full of lots of crazy driving maneuvers so if you arent from the area, take it slow and watch out.

Very authentic Greek restaurant. A real hidden Gem of delight and the owner the Falafel King is from Jerusalem and has genuine Israeli menu options. Superb Quality. Highly Recommend. Let your tastebuds salivate because this place is a delicacy you will thoroughly enjoy.

Delicious food at affordable prices! The shawarma and gyro meats are both excellent. The sides (we sampled the potatoes, salad, tzatziki, mixed greens, and tahini) are also top-notch in quality. The saffron rice is the only exception – it’s ordinary but still good. The atmosphere is low-key and unpretentious. The guys working the till and making the food are all smiles and helpful. They’re willing to make simple substitutions to suit your taste – my friend asked for a double portion of rice instead of salad and they accommodated with no sweat. And to top it all off, they plate the food well! Great food for a great value.

The garlic chicken gyro was excellent. I had to ask them to hold on the lettuce as it was starting to brown on the edges so 4 stars for that but an otherwise excellent meal.

Honestly, this is the worst mediterranean food Ive had. They put lettuce in chicken shawarma, and pickels in the salad. And the garlic sauce is no where to be found. Last time ordering here.
