I’m really disappointed with our recent experience at Panera Bread. Shortly after eating there, my child became very sick with symptoms consistent with food poisoning . As a parent, that’s extremely scary.

We are careful about what our kids eat, so this was concerning. I understand that mistakes can happen, but food safety is not something that can be taken lightly especially when it involves children.

I hope management takes this seriously, reviews food handling procedures, and ensures proper temperature control and sanitation. No family should have to deal with a sick child after what was supposed to be a simple meal out. My child ate the macaroni with bacon.

Kathy’s customer service was extremely poor and unprofessional. Her tone and behavior were inappropriate and unnecessary. She referred to my boyfriend and me (woman) as “two gentlemen” in a joking manner and laughed, instead of focusing on accurately taking our order. Because she was joking rather than listening, she only rang up one meal instead of both.

When we arrived to pick up our order, the manager was handing out the food. I asked why the second item we ordered was missing, and he asked what we had ordered. I explained that it was a chicken noodle soup.

I asked if he was the manager, and when he confirmed that he was, I was very direct in telling him that Kathy’s behavior was unacceptable and that she should not be working the register. He somewhat agreed and offered me the soup at no charge, although I repeatedly insisted on paying for it. My feedback was not shared to receive a free item, but to make management aware of the issue.

I typically avoid making claims of racism, but this situation felt uncomfortably close. We overheard her interactions with other customers, and she did not use the same tone or behavior with them.

FEEDBACK SHARED WITH PANERA CORPORATE AS WELL!

Panera is going to fail, sadly. Price gouging during a recession is disgusting. $13 for half a caprese sandwich with bacon is a joke, especially for the size compared to a few years ago. It’s like a $3 sandwich for them, cost wise; I was a restaurant consultant for a major player in the SAAS restaurant POS space. They’re making a TON of money off customers; they’re not hurting. The mocha was watery, chicken caesar salad was with slimy lunch meat instead of chunks of diced chicken breast, half as much dressing as it needed- it’s just a joke. If the quality/portions were what they were in 2016, we’d be fine paying such high prices. As it stands now, you’re better off going to a neighborhood deli. better portions, value, and customer experience literally anywhere else. Tragic, used to have good food.

Waited 15 mins for my food only to be told by the courteous manager that they didn’t have what I ordered (even though there was no one in front of me in line). After driving home, I found out the other sandwich on my order literally had a piece of paper from the cheese or chicken inside of it. The paper is on the bottom right of the photo with pieces of food still attached. Won’t ever be coming back here again even though the manager was nice, his employees really messed up.

Its a solid Panera location. The food was good (not amazing), but the service at this location was better than most. My little family enjoyed our fundraising meal at this location

Spacious, pleasant and cool place to have a coffee with friends. I didn’t try food, but my partner said their sandwiches are great. They are getting 4 stars because of a little bit slow service. Waited too long for 3 coffees. But everything else is great!

I’m obsessed with the Citrus Asian Crunch Salad! Not a fan of heated chicken on cold salad so since the chicken is already cooked I ask for them to not heat it and it’s perfect, also added hard-boiled egg for extra protein If you like strong citrus/lemon dressings this is the salad for you oh and that crispy carrot topping is out of this world

Ordered a bowl of soup and bread to go and took almost 20 min for my order to be ready. The restaurant wasn’t busy since it was late evening and many tables were dirty at the restaurant and neglected.

Currently two 13ish somethings are sitting in a booth acting deliberately obnoxiously loud and talking in baby talk.

Where oh where is a manager to either call their parents or walk them out?
