My first visit was a very good experience. I started with a Caesar salad, their variation was a little different, pleasant visually, the taste was A little lacking for my taste in a Caesar dressing. My entrée was the Seabass. It was perfectly prepared and paired extremely well with the charred corn and potatoes. Wonderful setting for a nice dinner.

Our food was fabulous! The filet my daughter ordered was PERFECT!! Never tasted a steak that melted in your mouth! I had the seabass which was excellent! Loved the sauce that was on the plate! My friend had the salmon which was good as well. Our server Shelia was very kind and helpful. She did an excellent job! We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!!!

Our server was wonderful. The food however, was extremely disappointing. The Saffron chowder was lacking any actual saffron and the frozen over cooked seafood made it even less pleasant. The split king crab legs were not split and obviously frozen Sam’s club warmed in an oven and very over cooked.

After several friends recommended this place for a fine dining experience, I decided to make a reservation for my son and me after a couple of rounds of golf. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. We spent $273 for two people, and the entire meal was terrible.
Things started off well with a prompt seating and our server quickly bringing our drink orders, except for a cocktail I ordered, which was delivered by another server about 15 minutes later.
We ordered appetizers and salads, and our server offered to stagger the delivery if we were ready to order our entrées. Surprisingly, the salads came out first instead of the appetizers. I had the chophouse wedge salad, which was served without blue cheese dressing. It was dry except for a few blue cheese crumbles, and I couldn’t get the server’s attention to bring the dressing. Perhaps they were saving me some calories.
When the shellfish trio arrived, I had high hopes, but it seemed like the food came from the adjacent seafood buffet. The crab claws were rubbery and not fresh, and while the shrimp were a good size, they were also rubbery and not fresh.
We didn’t see our server again until the end of the meal. Another server brought our steaks and left immediately, not giving us a chance to check the temperature. We ordered a filet and a bone-in KC Prime steak, both medium. However, both steaks were cooked rare. I can usually tolerate undercooked steak, but the KC strip was so tough it was hard to cut, let alone eat. The filet was too undercooked for my son’s liking.
Our server finally reappeared at the end. Thanks.

I am not in the habit of dropping 5-stars on restaurants. This one deserves it. It does not have a long menu but the food it serves is perfectly executed. Worth the experience when you are at the Pearl River Resort.

I love this place! If you’ve never been, you must try the Saffron Chowder…there is nothing else like it! It ranks right up there as one of the best menu item I’ve ever had anywhere. Get the Grande…you will not regret it! Also had a KC Strip Steak medium rare with fries and it was wonderful too. Some might consider it pricey, but you get what you pay for and they always over deliver.
This is a quite little get away in the casino with outstanding service. They treat you like a king on every visit. If you are ever there at the SilverStar Casino, plan an evening at Phillip M’s. Don’t miss it!

Our favourite place to eat after fun day gambling. Hubby gets steak, I always get shrimp cocktail and saffron chowder. All the food and service excellent, hot bread always fresh & hot. Angela is our favourite server, so sweet. Never had bad meal here, look forward to it. Last visit was on a Monday they were closed.. so we only come weekends now!!

We had a gift certificate for 2 a 100.00 value. My husband got the half of roasted chicken with lemon herbs..it was OK. He also got a salad. I got the Waygu burger…it wasn’t so good, tough and dry. I also got the French Onion Soup. It was really good. We both drank water. Our total was 93.00..so informed our server that we wanted her to have what was left over on the gift certificate. She informed us that it wasn’t allowed that the rest of our money would just be wasted. We left our server a generous tip because SHE provided excellent service, but I was not impressed with the food at all.
