Who knew there was BBQ in an HEB??!! My toddler and I came in for dinner this evening. We ordered the turkey baked potato. That looks so yummy and food we couldn’t even finish. They even have these reusable cups. It will cost me $2 less every time I come in to HEB to shop with my toddler. Food was delicious, service was great, plenty of food, and a huge variety of BBQ. We will definitely be coming back!

Love this place! Don’t let the fact that it’s in a grocery store deter you from trying it. They have such great quality BBQ and their sides are to die for! Do yourself a favor and come check this place out! My favorite is the chopped brisket sandwich with some corn or Mac And cheese on the side. Weather your stopping in on your way to get groceries or picking some up to take home, or coming in for a quick lunch break you will thank yourself!

We love to get BBQ here! The service is always great. The fatty brisket is moist, ribs fall off the bone. The turkey can be dry, but still flavorful!

I travel a lot for work and love BBQ. This place is one of my favorite and it’s in a GROCERY STORE! BBQ is excellent. The young lady who helped is named Jen and she was awesome. HEB needs to keep her as her service is excellent!!

Real Texas BBQ inside of a Grocery store. Went to HEB but, I was a bit Hungry. So, I stopped to eat at True Texas BBQ inside the store at the entrance. I went in not knowing what to expect. Surprisingly it was a full blown out BBQ Restaurant inside that even offers Ice Cold Glasses of Beer. The menu is Huge Brisket sandwiches, plates dinners, Desserts, and several tasty sides. I ordered the sliced Beef brisket sandwich which if you Texas Size it for $4 more they double the meat to make it even more mouth watering. I also chose a side of Mac n Cheese which was Hot n Creamy but to me a bit salty. I really enjoyed my meal and when I am back through here I plan to enjoy more Texas BBQ!

So my mom and I were told to try this place from an actual chef ..we got a chopped beef baked potato and sausage links . This was probably the worst bbq I’ve ever tasted so far. My potato was dry like they didn’t even think to add butter.. cheese wasn’t melted and the meat has no flavor !!!! I almost thought I was eating dog food .. The sausage link was very dry and also had no flavor . I actually gave the rest of the food to my dog … The best thing I had from this place was the tea and that’s about it, but I will never in life stop at this place and waste any more of my money.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch. The portions are big! I ordered the brisket nachos and they were SO good! My husband got a sliced turkey sandwich that came with onions and pickles on the side: he said it was GREAT after he added some barbque sauce to it. They have a happy hour that we were not aware of but glad to hear about. 5 stars!
