Place is noisy inside and out, as with their location at Henderson & Kilpatrick it’s next to impossible to place orders through the drive-thru. Their prices like everywhere have gone up, but unfortunately the tastes / quality of their food has become less satisfying. There is not near enough parking not only for the size of the place but add to the previous comment, you’re better off going inside to place your order due to the noisy traffic and poor drive thru speaker system. Another issue of concern to me is when I place the order, I want to be given the price if I am able to use the drive-thru; I don’t want to hear they’ll give me the price at the window as I could count out the money and hopefully expedite the waiting times for everyone. It was 1:50 when I arrived, there were approximately 6 or 7 cars in front of me as the line wrapped from the drive-thru window around and to the Kilpatrick side (northside) of their building. That was another issue as the person came out with his to go order, he couldn’t leave as all the cars parked in the front (174) side were ultimately blocked in by the inconsiderate people in the drive-thru lane. Once the person in front of me moved forward, I actually moved out of line & to the side of them so this man could finally take his by then cold food home. The restaurant’s remodel a couple of years ago definitely missed hitting the homerun that you would have hoped for. Half way through my 25 minute venture, I began wondering if they had been restrained by the WHATABURGER corporation with the length of overall time and thought about asking if they would consider trying to go to Chick Fil-A’s school to get it right but again they’ll never reach the quality food or service of Chick Fil-A, so there’s probably need. To top it all off, My Medium sized drink turned into a bottle of Ozarka water I already had in my truck. Why, because DQ, is doing their utmost in “CREATING” A penny and coin shortage. As I finally got to the service window, the girl began to shove the drink out, saw me with change in hand, and again vs giving me the price when I was at the speaker 12 minutes prior, she said that will be $1.88 & I began to count the change along with my dollar bill; then the pitiful girl said, Minus the pennies so you’re thinking, $1.85 but know she said “Minus” the pennies so paying cash I needed to pay $1.90 ??? I said seriously, that’s crazy, ” I have the exact change” and then she responded we are not allowed to take in pennies. I told her that’s why y’all are saying there’s a shortage because you’re not choosing to use the billions in circulation. I said that is “stupid, So never mind, I’ll drink my water & you can keep the Cherry Limeaide”. She surprisedly asked, what? You don’t want it? I said, no it’s the principle of this whole penny ordeal, non new circulation did not create a shortage the same billions that were around prior are still floating around and should be used. These places are slowly and illegally adding bottom line profits while stealing from us in creating the rounding system to what they figure benefits them for now, but I beg everyone to stand up for a change for “Our Coin Change”. How does it make sense to refuse to take the exact change? Heck, I could have given her the 88 cents in pennies & she could have used them the rest of the day but she wisely followed the DQ CHANGE RULE, threw away a Medium cup, Ice, the lime, Cherry & limeade drink which had to costs ? 50 cents,? plus the wages for time for herself & whoever made the drink, but she did good as she chose to follow the ignorant rule vs. Taking the 3 pennies! Oh my, hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed my Ozarka water. Please stand up for the pennies otherwise next thing, we’re going to do away with nickels, and continue moving toward the Cashless society. The businesses will have OUR MONEY and we’ll be broke. McDonald’s alone has 70 million customers’ every day, so even ripping 1 cents = $7 Million pure Bottom line Stolen profit and they don’t stop at 1 penny. Businesses Deserve ur money, Right?

I don’t understand but you order your food and they tell you to pull around cause there cooking it but you’ll sit here anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes cause you have to wait on the people behind cause they’re not gonna make 2 trips and check your bag i don’t know how many sides of cheese they owe me cause they forgot it

It was OK. Just can’t quite understand how workers at the register don’t know much about their menu. Like, how is a “misty freeze made, what is in it? The guy at the register has no idea, goes and asks and all I get is a reading off the menu board. Lol I guess they only know it comes out of a machine? Hint, there’s no carbonation in it. But otherwise, this DQ is as good as any other as long as the machines don’t break down.

all i wanted was a frosted animal cookie blizzard, i’ve had it in the past and it’s my favorite flavor. i picked one up on my way home, but when i got home and tasted it, it was something COMPLETELY different. it tasted and looked like they just threw some nerds candy bits in it and called it a day. i ordered one item, how do you mess that up??

I come to this Dairy Queen quite often and Shawna always seems to have a great attitude gets my food out quickly and is always polite I really appreciate her service and what Dairy Queen has to offer. I especially liked it when they had the special going on where kids eat free with a meal purchase. It shows that Dairy Queen really cares about our children and giving the parents a little bit of a financial break.
