Mura Japanese BBQ & Shabu—with “Mura” meaning village in Japanese—bridges traditional Japanese charm with the vibrant energy of a neon-lit cityscape in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area. The restaurant redefines Asian cuisine by blending authentic Japanese BBQ, shabu, and expertly crafted sushi with an eclectic mix of culinary influences, featuring a buffet-style salad bar with Korean-style side dishes, robust Chinese-inspired hotpot broths, and a nod to American barbecuing.

Had a great experience at Mura Japanese BBQ and Shabu Shabu! The food was fresh and delicious, and I loved that it was all you can eat perfect for trying a little bit of everything. The BBQ meats and hot pot options were both solid.
Service was also on point. Super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving a fun, filling meal with good vibes. Such a great price for the amount of food and the quality of the cuts.

Great place. You get to have the best of both worlds; Shabu shabu and JBBQ. Lots to choose from. Their grill though overcooks. You easily get full from the hotpot, but if you had a friend who prefers hot pot and another who prefers bbq, then it works out. I don’t like how it’s a Japanese place that serves Korean Melona bars. Not only does the theme not match, but those melona bars are just cheap popsicles. Go back to serving actual ice cream. Forget your profits. Ice cream choices for these kinds of places used to have affogato, mochi, actual ice cream, etc… Now it’s just cheap popsicles.

Honestly, this was a really disappointing experience. The meats were just okay- the beef belly was probably the best of what we tried, but overall the meat quality felt a bit dry.
The real issue was the service. Our waiter was nice, but it was extremely slow and frustrating. We had to wait 20 minutes just to get our grill changed while we were still eating, which completely ruined our appetite. On top of that, it took 15 minutes just to get our stove turned on because the waiter wasn’t paying attention to our table. Also, we asked for rice paper and the server said it was at the self service station. It was not, and we didn’t have the patience for the server to come back and tell them it’s not.
They were clearly short-staffed, and while I understand it was a holiday, that doesn’t excuse making customers wait around like that. There were multiple times when I had to get up to ask the server for service. Everyone around us seemed frustrated too. even the table next to us was upset about the service.
Overall, the food was average at best, and the terrible service made the whole experience unenjoyable. Definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t waste your money here. It was roughly about $35 per person.

This restaurant was quick to get us our food and drinks. Very responsive and professional. The supervisor, Elias, is always helpful and asking if we were OK. He was always checking on us. Definitely will go back – the service Elias and the staff has showed was amazing.

Really loved the variety at this place – hotpot and BBQ! You can’t go wrong.
When we went it wasn’t busy and the servers were great and we didn’t feel rushed.
Such a big selection of vegetables too. Would definitely go back again if I return to Vegas.

Mura’s shabu-shabu and Japanese BBQ are top quality! I was so excited to enjoy both BBQ and hot pot at the same time. The self-service station had a great selection of fresh vegetables and delicious sauces. We finished our meal with some DIY shaved ice, which was the perfect sweet ending!
Our server, Su, was incredibly kind and provided excellent service. She took great care of our baby and even gave a cute little gift, which made our visit even more special. Because of her, we can’t wait to come back!

Went to try this place on a weekend. They were pretty busy but were able to get seated right away. Employees are friendly. Menu was korean bbq, hot pot, and sushi. Lots of choices. Had 3 options to choose from but since it was the weekend, choice A wasn’t allowed. So it was choice B or wagyu lover. We did choice B and still had lots of options. It’s a nice place to go to with a party of people who wants different choices. Overall, it was good.
