We celebrated our son’s 5th birthday party Saturday and it was perfect! Michelle was very helpful setting up our reservation in the game area, and checking in on us throughout the party. The kitchen and servers got out all 20 kids pizza meals + 3 large pizzas at 12:30 like requested. We had so many compliments of how great the party was! So many our guests had never been to Pizza Bonez and said how great the atmosphere was and that they would be back. Highly recommend for your next party!

My husband and I visited Pizza Bonez for the first time. The atmosphere was good. Our server was super nice. The food was really good. We had the breadsticks with beer cheese. They were very good, just really small!! We both had the Pimento Cheese Burger. I added Fried Green Tomatoes to mine. The burgers were cooked just as we ordered, and were very good! The Fried Green Tomatoes were a good addition and recommended. We look forward to returning. We will try the pizza on our next visit!

I’m a single father & former Marine. Finding my happy place that would accommodate both my child & I was difficult. Jacksonville does not have many kid AND adult friendly places to dine in. Pizza Bonez allowed me to find a place where I can decompress & spend quality time with my child. There are games to play with & pool tables for me. The bartenders are amazing; to my knowledge Nicolette & Kayla have worked in fast pace restaurants for years, they have not failed to work with my lack of knowledge in mixed drinks & have recommended new drinks to my preferred taste. The server I’ve often sat with is Coral. She has the experience to provide the quality service we required. Tyler the manager, would be seen running everything from the front all the way to the kitchen. The food is delicious, I recommend the Alfredo & of course the variety of pizza options. I have met my second family here & the owners (if they are inside) often welcome me & my child with open arms. When I am kid free, I often find myself coming back as my safe haven to decompress from work. Pizza Bonez is family oriented business made to fit the needs of both parents & their children. Take that away & you’re left with the franchises & chain restaurants in Jacksonville.

Food was alright but we did have an issue with my son receiving an outdated yogurt, which I didn’t notice til he had already ate some of it. The waitress was kind enough to bring us something else after we noticed it and brought it up since all the yogurts in the back were apparently outdated and we couldn’t just get a new one. We went June 9 and the yogurt was out May 24.

I would give our experience a 2 star simply for the fact that we did not enjoy the food and the service was beyond terrible. I was upset because I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. We ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza due to the fact they could not split any specialty pizza and from other reviews is probably good we didn’t go with what we wanted. The pizza was average.
We also ordered nachos which were okay but not great and I didn’t think was worth the price especially because we barely had any toppings on it. After the first layer of chips, there was nothing else to eat it with.
We also ordered the chicken strips with an upgraded side of Mac and cheese. Chicken strips were probably the best thing we had today but they were fried really crispy and dark. The Mac and cheese was bland and reminded me of velveeta Mac and cheese. There was no flavor and not worth it at all. Really disappointed.
As for the service, our waiter was nice but didn’t pay attention to us at all. We were her only table and it took her 10 minutes to come and grab our drink order and after we were given our food by another waitress, she stopped by to see how we were doing. Our sauces for the chicken strips were forgotten, we weren’t given any extra plates, and my husband had to get up and get our refills for us. She never stopped by to check on us until we were ready to leave. We looked for her and she was just sitting at the bar where she seemed distracted by other male customers.
When we asked if we were supposed to get our own refills she apologized and told us no, she was supposed to get them and that she was busy. She didn’t look busy to us but she could have been.
Overall the food wasn’t great, service sucked, and there was no explanation of how our experience should have gone with it being our first time. I.e. who refills our drinks, if we want to play games can we leave our table, etc.
We played some games after boxing up our pizza to go and that was probably the best part. A little pricey for credits but my husband and I enjoyed a couple games of connect four basketball and centipede.
**I’d suggest only going for game play and the bar. Eat at home and don’t waste your time on the food.

got the mozzarella and buffalo chicken pizza for my husband’s birthday. he liked his pizza a lot, and i got a thin crust which was cooked very very well! super crunchy. i didn’t realize it had no marina sauce so our waitress gave us some and it was so velvety and delicious! i should’ve ordered less cheese because the whole pizza was blanketed in it. but that’s my fault. overall it’s like a nicer chucky cheese vibe with great different options on the menu. only downside was that our server under performed as a waitress

I’m leaving a 3 star because I used to love coming to pizza bones to get my regular- chicken quesadilla, but not so much anymore.
When I normally get it, it’s a pretty decent size and the flavor is phenomenal. This time I ordered, I asked for extra ranch, extra salsa and extra sour cream.
I only got two extra sour creams.
I paid 12.36 cents for this. I am definitely bummed.

The first thing that was changed is how there were only 4 pieces. Typically, it’s larger in quantity. The second is the taste. I’m not sure why but it was more bland.
Then on top of all of that, I paid for extra sauces to go with this, and I didn’t get them.
So I called the venue and spoke to a kind young lady, and told her my concerns. She said the quesadilla just looks smaller because I was not dining it- however, I do pick up often and it was always larger than what I received today.
Then I told her how I paid for extra sauces and she said the next time I could come in and get some for free, which was nice, but didn’t help the fact I had none of them except the sour cream.

This was the first time I’ve ever been inside here, we’ve ordered through GrubHub previously. Really enjoyed our dine in experience, my only complaint was the cherry bombs we ordered were warm. Besides that everything was great. Pizza Bones and beer cheese, yes please! Fried pickle chips are another great app. I had the pimento cheese burger, and was blown away! The chef came out and checked in with us. Just great all around vibe. Very busy on a Friday, but we were able to sit in the booth section with no wait.

If you’re looking for a fun place to go out on a date or meet up with some friends then Pizza Bonez is definitely a great option! Good selection of beer on tap as well as can/bottle selections, the menu has lots of items that are shareable and crave worthy, plus you get to be a kid again and play some games! Tuesday is a great day to visit with their killer “Taco Tuesday” special of 3 tacos (highly recommend the pulled pork) chips & salsa, a flight of N.C. craft beer, and a $10 game card all for only $20

Had a lot of fun here after a long day of work at “Marc Daigle Reptiles”… Stopped at “Wine and Design” in Jacksonville before heading here for supper and a birthday party… Singing karaoke was a ton of fun… The drinks and the food were amazing… Playing arcade games in between singing karaoke was also great…
