Located within the Trades Hotel, this sleek restaurant is a energized place to catch a meal before a Bucks game. It’s packed! It didn’t have a large menu but what is offered is very good and with some dishes, unique. For example, the D.L.T. (duck, lettuce & sandwich) and the short rib pasta. Both were excellent. I’ll have to dip in again with ol’ girl to try more of their menu.

Really enjoyed this place! Staff were attentive, friendly, and constantly moving. Great energy and the vibe is typical of a nice hotel restaurant.
Duck sandwich was really good. Savory and filling. I would recommend the bread be dry toasted instead of grilled. Duck is such a fatty meat, the butter overkills it. House chips were crisp, well seasoned and not greasy. Would absolutely request a side of the root beer sauce. So good!
Broccolini side was perfect al dente and with the lemon garlic flavor accompaning each bite.

Nicole, out waitress provided us with a wonderful service and a great attitude. We had French toasts, chicken sausages, eggs and some good coffee. We would definitely come back when in the neighborhood.

Had to weigh in on the fish fry here. We just stopped in before a Friday event and saw they – of course – are serving this Wisconsin staple. Atmosphere and service were top notch. The potato pancakes are exceptional! Silver dollar sized, flavorful and crisp. They were the best thing on my plate! The Cole slaw is creamy, but mustard heavy. I enjoyed the change of pace.
The Beer battered cod was crisp and tasty, if a bit oily and, unfortunately, a bit over cooked. Not far off, but still fell apart under the fried batter. This may be a contender when folks start looking for new favorite places to hang out on Fridays during lent!
I’d like go higher than 4 stars for Craft, but I can’t give them 5- yet.

First time at the Trade Hotel, and the Craft restaurant. The hotel is very nice. It’s part of the Fiserv sports/entertainment complex. The lobby is large, and well appointed. Lots of windows with natural light all around (western and southern exposure).
Sat at the bar, and got served by the bartender/barista. Order a Chai Latte and a Chocolate Chip Scone. The Latte was made with the Rishi Masala concentrate and was expertly made with extra foam and cinnamon. The Scone was fresh and warm. It could have been a bit more crumbly (like a traditional scone), but that’s a small criticism.
Overall, an excellent spot to get either a breakfast or a hot beverage and baked item.

Craft is the first floor bar/restaurant in the new Trade Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. It’s a beautiful space in the Deer District, offering incredible food and a large selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
First and foremost, our server Shahira was AMAZING! She was very attentive, constantly checking in with us to make sure we had everything we wanted. Our drinks and food came out quickly and always with a smile.
We started with the giant pretzel and meat and cheese board. Delicious and perfect for sharing with our table of 6. I had the Shaved Brussel Sprout and Kale salad as my entree, and it was hands down the best salad I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The large pieces of crispy prosciutto were very flavorful and a welcome (not to mention long overdue) change to the typical croutons. These and the generous sized shaved cheeses were the perfect compliment to the craisins and vinaigrette dressing, creating a refreshing salty-sweet balance. The portion was sizeable and could have easily been shared (although I took my leftovers home and enjoyed them the next day without the greens being soggy at all).
Craft is absolutely a winning experience and perfect for date night or groups. Worth going back again and again.

The food is good. The service must improve. Short staffed cannot always excuse you. Food served to the wrong table, drinks waiting at the bar, condiments for our sandwiches were left off after assuring she had our order correct, and the waiter never apologized. A customer should not be left to feel the pressures of the establishment. Just come with patience.

This is a really cool bar in the Trade Hotel near the Deer District. The fried cheese curds with chipotle ranch were fantastic. There’s a good selection of beer on tap. A great place for a fancy drink!

Good was amazing and the atmosphere was great. The customer service was rude . I was rushed to pay before I even done eating. Then the waitress tells me no rush. Like really can finish my food before you rush me out. I always leave a tip that was just very rude. Only wanted a quick lunch. Normally I make my own food. It’s was a wonderful sandwich ruined by the waiters attitude. Hope you all hire better.

I tried to make a reservation for a group of 8 people. I was told that because it was an event night at Fiserv, they would require a $360 food and beverage minimum and impose a 25% gratuity. I canceled the reservation and my group went elsewhere. If you’re going to go to such lengths to discourage reservations on an “event night”, then locating your restaurant right across the street from Fiserv was poor planning.
