We heard a lot about this place in social media and we finally decided to visit you.
We ordered hit via call the one who to cover called. Did a very good job. She’s so cool and calm to take our order though. There is a lot of customization.
Items ordered
— We order wings and chicken thighs.
Chicken is so flavorful and good to eat as well, but the only problem is, lot of bones in it.
But they marinated well and fried well too, it was good taste I would say.
Everybody who wants to try for the first time of the second time you can definitely go for this one.
But important suggestions are don’t eat during night time, make sure you have it early in the evenings or afternoons to be healthy.
Feedback for the restaurant
— I feel like you need to add some outdoor attractions.
– Because that place feels like to go or not to go kind off.
— You will have a lot of traffic if you attract customers. Also, if you have some budget, try to make it a drive-through.

Looks like typical fast foodish place. However, my meal was tasty. I had catfish. It was good – lightly breaded and crispy. Their sides are all good except the baked beans. They’re average. I’ve also had their fried chicken before. Moist and flavorful. Recommended for a quick bite out.

For a fried chicken place, the fried fish was delectable had a real nice spicy kick to it. You could tell the cole slaw was house made, it had a traditional cole slaw taste to it. The mac and cheese was mid but the hush puppies made up for it. They taste amazing when you bite into them and add some of the spicy vinegar to it.

I just had Gus’s for the first time and let me tell you it was amazing! The fried chicken was very fresh and the flavor was amazing! Great amount of spicy without being overwhelming. And the Chocolate Chess Pie was phenomenal! My server Kaitlyn was great as well, she was very helpful with suggestions and super friendly. I will be back for sure!

The service was absolutely atrocious! The male skinny tall service staff with glasses was rude annd snappy. He made my wife feel uncomfortable when we asked for a refund for extra food added to our order. He then was extremely rude to our party and seemed like he was out to try to make people feel stupid. The food was ok, but with the service I will never be attending this restaurant again!

This is the cutest place! The food is delicious. Notes – the fried chicken does have a little spice in it. The mac n cheese is AMAZING and the fried okra is too die for!! They are having a RIDICULOUS sale in July 16, go try it, you won’t be sorry.

I don’t get up in the area much, but I called in an order this afternoon for a 12 piece snack, and small mac and small collards. Picked it up, and headed my hour and a half drive home. When I got home I pulled out the chicken from the bag and was shorted 3 pieces of chicken. The rest of the chicken and the sides as usual were delicious, just being short that much chicken is a killer.

I ordered a whole chocolate chess pie for my spouse. They were very kind on the phone taking the order a few days in advance. They held the pie for me, and my spouse said it was the best chocolate chess pie he’s had. Very impressed will be back.

The chicken is the star of this show. You don’t go here for the sides. The sides are just adequate. I ordered beans and mac and cheese. The chicken was phenomenal! The place smells like chicken from the parking lot. When you take that first savory bite the juices leave a subtle burn on your lips. My server, Danny was excellent and very personable. Glad I made the trek for this awesome chicken! Definitely better than driving to Memphis.

We had an excellent experience at Gus’s Fried Chicken tonight, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Tyler. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome and taken care of. He was attentive without ever being overbearing, checking in at just the right times and making sure we had everything we needed.
What really stood out was how thoughtful and proactive he was. He anticipated what we might need before we even had to ask, whether it was refilling drinks quickly, bringing extra ranch and honey mustard, or making sure hot food came out promptly. He went out of his way to explain a couple of menu items and made recommendations that turned out to be spot on.
Tyler’s attitude made the difference, he was friendly, patient, and clearly cared about giving us the best possible experience. It felt like he genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal, and that kind of service is rare.
Thanks to him, our evening at Gus’s was more than just great food, it was memorable. Tyler is a fantastic server, and we’ll definitely be back not just for the chicken, but for the way he made us feel like valued guests.
