I had the opportunity to visit this establishment today with my sister for the first time and was not disappointed! The atmosphere, friendly hospitality and food were outstanding. Hope to visit again soon.

It’s easily my favorite Thai restaurant! The soup is great with nice appetizer soup, sweet and sour. Love the tender chicken and amazing authentic flavors. I highly recommend the boba drinks. They are really good, but make sure to water them down because they are a little too sweet. The cook is really kind and also told us the best way to dip the sauces and gave us great recommendations. You must check this place out. It is the best place ever.

We used Yum Thai to cater an event for about 45 people, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The spread had something for everyone, and the flavors were exactly what you hope for when you order Thai for a crowd—fresh, vibrant, and consistently delicious across every dish. The appetizers were a huge win (especially the egg rolls and chicken satay), and the mains were the kind that disappear fast at a buffet—Pad Thai, Thai fried rice, and flavorful stir-fries with just the right kick.
If you’re looking for catering that feels special (not “meh” banquet food), Yum Thai absolutely delivers. Great variety, great quality, and the kind of meal that makes people ask, “Where did you get this?” We’ll be ordering again.

I have had pad Thai at about every spot In Fort Wayne this month (look at my reviews) I should have took a picture of the rice soup but I ate it too fast! I will be back! The lunch deals are great and the chef actually recommended the dish my date got! I tried it (pad prik khing) delicious sauce sweet crispy vegetables, highly recommend. The Pad Thai was excellent, I have been here a few times and am always pleasantly amazed by the quality and freshness of the food!!!!

I’ve been eating here for years, carry out and delivery mostly but sometimes I dine in. The food is always great! Today I ate in the restaurant on my lunch break and my waitress (I didn’t catch her name) was the most genuinely nice person I’d ever met. Admittedly, I wasn’t having the greatest day but she literally was such a light. Thought she deserved recognition for this.

BEST Thai food in Fort Wayne. Whether you are dining in or grabbing carry-out, the food is consistently delicious. All the food is fresh and packed with flavor. The pot stickers and egg rolls are a must for your starter! The Pad Thai is my favorite but you cannot go wrong with any item on the menu!

I visited Yum Thai on East State Street for lunch this week. I have visited several of the Thai restaurants around town and this one was on the list of very good ones. It’s still not my favorite but I did enjoy the food that I had here.
The dish that I normally enjoy the most is the Pad See Ew. I typically enjoy the dish with the bean thread or glass noodles, mainly because they are not made of wheat or rice and I enjoy the texture. The dish usually comes with your choice of meat and various vegetables. The thing that really sets this dish apart is what makes it different at the various Thai restaurants. That is the chef’s own thai sauce which can vary from store to store.
The dish at Yum Thai was good and probably is #2 or #3 on my list so far. If you have seen my review for Thai Metta then you know which one my favorite is so far.
I also have discovered the summer rolls at Thai restaurants or Vietnamese restaurants. These are bigger than your normal spring roll and is not deep fried. They are thicker rolls wrapped in rice paper, filled with shrimp or other meat and various vegetables. The summer rolls Yum Thai were pretty standard but the sauce that they serve with them made them stand out somewhat. The entree was also served with a rice soup that was very flavorful and a nice compliment to the summer roll and the entree.
The store is a small one with maybe 8 to 10 tables and minimal decor. The service was great and I would definitely recommend this place.

My first time eating Thai food. I was NOT disappointed. The place was clean and spotless. Nice and sunny. Wait staff friendly and accommodating. We had Thai Cashew served with white rice. I asked them to hold the chilli paste. THE most delicious assortment of veggies in a very tasty brown sauce. Cashews were steamed perfectly. Came with an egg roll which i dipped in a sweet and sour sauce. Egg drop soup eas marvellous. A most delightful and delicious lunch experience. I will go back again
And again
And again!
Yum! Thai

This used to be my “back up” plan when my favorite (the best in FW) was closed, or if I got stuck on the NE side of town, so it’s been probably a year since I’d had it…but they have really stepped up their game! I would put them on par with my fave now, and will not hesitate if they are closer to where I am when the mood strikes!
Pictured is the Cashew Nut Chicken, my always and forever go-to, and the standard by which I judge a Thai restaurant. Pictured in the background is the Pad Thai, which was better (imo) than most, because most seem to lean to the sweet side, which I’m not a fan of. This was a great savory PT.

Enjoyed my lunch! The soup and egg roll was more of a 4 or 3 star for me, but I enjoyed the crab rangoon (from my husband’s plate – we shared sides to try more), and my main meal of Thai Basil. Highly recommend ! And my friend’s Pad Thai looked amazing as well! Oh, and don’t forget to try their boba tea! I tried watermelon, and it was good. My husband tried raspberry, and he enjoyed that. He said mine tasted like Jolly Ranchers, lol, and I said his was too tart (like a Sweet Tart). All in all, very good!
