I have visited this interesting, country atmosphere restaurant a few times. It is a combination restaurant and meet-up local for casual dining. Coffee and tea are good; however, the food needs more personal attention to quality and quantity. Let me explain. The couple of times I have visited the food I ordered was either overcooked and/or hard to find on the plate. Portion size is important. I will say the prices were moderate and maybe the normal clientele appreciates this, but as a chef I felt something was missing on my plate…? I will say their Cole slaw is very good, so definitely give it a try and they have a menu which will please the pickiest diner. Some slight tweeks to the food prep and portion size will make this local favorite a true gem.

We came here for breakfast and everything was so good. I got the kids mini pancakes with bacon and two biscuits with sausage gravy, and we also had a short stack with turkey sausage. Everything was delicious! Fluffy pancakes, rich gravy, and perfectly cooked meat.
Also, the plates were super cute, which just made the whole meal even better. Seriously amazing breakfast. Just wish it wasn’t so far away, or we’d be here all the time!

Small Town Hero
Sisters was a throwback to slower days. They had a self-serve coffee station and a small library to choose a book to read from.
They had in-door and outdoor porch dining. The service was polite, but once the food was given, the service was not to be seen again at our table of 7!!
The breakfast was good. I got a breakfast platter with ham and tasted like you’d imagine. And the prices were a great bargain.
I would stop by again. The French toast breakfast looked really good! And the home style fries i sampled is a must order!!

This was our first visit to Sister’s in years, and it was good to be back again. The parking lot was packed. Likewise the restaurant, but actually, plenty of seating. It seems that there are regulars here on Saturday mornings, and everybody knows everybody, making it a very friendly spot. Our server, Audrey, was great, the food was excellent (and lots of it), and the prices are very reasonable. We’ll be back. Maybe you should try Sister’s too?

This was our first time and most likely our last. We tried this restaurant based on reviews. When we arrived, there was no one at the door, or cash register, and there was no sign indicating “seat yourself”. We waited, and after several minutes, a young woman came from the kitchen and told us to seat ourselves, no greeting, just seat yourselves. We found a table and again, waited several minutes. The same woman came to our table ( never introduced herself, so I don’t know her name) no greeting whatsoever, not very welcoming or friendly, just laid down the menus, said coffee was serve yourself and she left. She returned within about 3 minutes and asked what we wanted. We asked for a few minutes to look through our choices since we were new to the restaurant. About 15 minutes later, she returned, took our orders, and left.
It took a very long time to get our food, which tasted okay, but seemed overpriced for what you get. We did not see the server again until the check was left on our table, without any conversation at all, just silence.
My assumption is this is a great local place, if you know everyone. We are not from the area and likely will not recommend this restaurant unless you live nearby and know the owners.

My husband and I at here Wednesday, October 17th 2019. We each ordered a 2 egg breakfast with bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly. We asked for crispy bacon and got that as well. The only negative thing I could really say is the portion of potatoes is quite small. The deco was cute..loved the chickens..
All in all…The server (man)was a little scatter brained but, the food was good..The cook did a wonderful job.
