⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Experience at The Lighthouse Restaurant & Lounge!

We had an absolutely phenomenal time at The Lighthouse in Briarcliff, Texas! From the moment we walked in, the food, service, atmosphere, and hospitality were top tier.

A massive shoutout to Lacy and Tracy, these two brought down the house! Their product knowledge, menu guidance, friendliness, and lightning fast service made the night unforgettable. It’s rare to find a team that combines warmth, personality, and flawless execution the way they did.

The food was outstanding, the entertainment was on point, and the entire experience felt like a perfect blend of comfort and class. Anytime we’re in town, we will absolutely be back.

If you’re looking for great food, amazing energy, and staff who treat you like family,
The Lighthouse is the place to be.

Our Sunday brunch at The Lighthouse Restaurant and Lounge was nothing short of spectacular. The views from the deck were breathtaking, with a gentle breeze and live music creating the most relaxing, tranquil atmosphere—the perfect way to start the day.

The brunch selection was abundant, offering something for every craving, from classic comfort dishes to lighter fare. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and our food arrived quickly yet perfectly prepared—hot, flavorful, and beautifully plated.

The Lighthouse is truly a hidden gem where great food, serene views, and warm hospitality come together seamlessly. We left refreshed, satisfied, and already planning our return!

Had the Fidh and chips which was very tasty. The Philly cheese steak was ok. The meat was a little dry. The fish tacos were good and saved over rice. Prices were reasonable and great service.

We visited Lighthouse in the charming little community of Briar Cliff, just outside of Austin — what a hidden gem! The food was genuinely delicious, and the atmosphere had a unique, inviting vibe. We went on a Saturday evening and were treated to live music played by a group of talented older gentlemen — they were fantastic and really enhanced the experience.

I had the Cuban sandwich, my son chose steak, my daughter enjoyed shrimp, and my wife opted for calamari. Every dish was absolutely delicious — we couldn’t find a single complaint.

One of the highlights was their beverage menu: they offer both alcoholic cocktails and mocktails (non-alcoholic), which I found amusing — maybe it’s common in the U.S., but it stood out to me in a fun way.

The prices were pretty reasonable — we spent around $200 for four people, which seems fair for a nice dinner with drinks.

On a scorching Texas evening, their outdoor cooling system—fine water misters combined with fans—made a remarkable difference. It kept the patio refreshingly cool and inviting.

The staff was very attentive, frequently checking in to see if we needed anything. For me, that was welcome service, though my wife mentioned that it felt a bit pushy at times — almost like they were hinting we should keep ordering or finish up. It might just be a local cultural norm, but it’s worth noting for newcomers.

A final personal touch: they have a world map on the wall where guests can place pins showing where they’re from. We’re from Crimea, and apparently ours was the first pin from there — we felt proud and it made the visit even more special.

All things considered, it was a fantastic evening. Highly recommended!

I’ve been here a couple of times only when there’s an errand to run in the area. It’s quite far from ATX downtown but the drive is beautiful and scenic. I really like the cute bridge from the parking lot to the restaurant. It’s like a little amusement park entrance. We came during peak lunch hour so we had to wait 20 min for a table. We were seated near the window with a nice view of the marina. Service for the drinks was super quick but the food took a really long time. I think the kitchen was backed up due to the crowd. When the food did come, it didn’t disappoint. The chicken fried steak and eggs were the first thing I saw on the menu and then I stopped reading. It was so good. The batter actually stuck to the meat!! And even the normally forgotten side dish of potatoes was worth the meal in itself – fried perfectly to a beautiful crisp and tender on the inside. My kid ordered a cheeseburger and the patty was really good even though it needed a little bit more salt. Hubby got a chicken Caesar salad which sounds boring but it was so good – there were nice shavings of Parmesan and it was perfectly dressed. By the time 12:45 came around, the restaurant got a lot quieter and less busy and people were getting their food at normal times.
