Old-time downtown Danville restaurant favorite for many reasons. Pete’s is a great place for the whole family. Very friendly and attentive waitstaff. Asked immediately as we walked in if we needed high chairs for our wee ones. Massive 1/2 lb burgers are deliciously juicy and messy to eat. Portions are BIG! Prices are very responsible for what you get. Kid friendly, besides clean high chairs, Pete’s offers kids a coloring sheet of Pete. Diaper changing table in the women’s restroom. Only place I can think of where you can be in a beer club, watch sports on one of 4 flat screen TVs, order a cocktail or wine, eat Mexican Food inside or outside, and have your kids all in one place.

The food is always good here, but the service is a little slow. Last time we were there, our waitress forgot about us and we were left at our table waiting for the check. The drawings on the wall are entertaining and the jukebox is fun. However, I would suggest bringing earplugs if you’re hypersensitive.
