The food we got was great.
But Wed and Fri this location have a DJ It’s not a club It’s a restaurant. I didn’t mind the music.
But the Music was so loud we could not even hear the servers voice. And on top of that, they have the nerve to charge each customer an additional 15% gratuity for the DJ.
And then there were items that are listed either on the menu or on their website that they don’t even have.
I ordered fried mushrooms for the table they’d never had fried mushrooms in fact the server was like we’ve never had them.
We’re here for Business but we kept hearing about crafty crab So just like anyone who keeps hearing about places to eat.
we wanted to try it, but the experience overall terrible food great.
We could tell that our server was doing his best.
Not enough workers my server was serving people and behind the bar making Margaritas and Drinks. For his customers plus turning in orders serving food.

I’ve ordered from this location multiple times before with no issues.
This time, within minutes of eating the seafood boil, I became violently ill and vomited multiple times.
The food tasted off, including the butter, and I immediately stopped eating.
This was a $45 order, and the experience was concerning.
Posting here so management is aware and can review food handling and preparation. The order was placed through Uber Eats.

We love the Boom sauce, always a good meal. Even with being busy the service was good, Reagan did a great job. And everyone made my husband feel special for his birthday!

I really wanted to like this place. Our server was great… the music & DJ was a vibe…the strawberry daiquiri was tasty…enjoyed the hush puppies…at first my food looked good at the restaurant…but when I got to plate my food I GOT A LOT OF BAD SHRIMP!!!!!!! I can understand one or two but all of these!!!! So disappointing I threw the whole thing away! Best advice I can give is check the food!

I wanted so bad to make this Westside location my spot. When I tell you the portion that was given for the Blue Crab Special looked like it came from the kid’s menu. The crabs were smaller than your hand. I didn’t dine in. I placed our orders to go.
SN-I’ve been going to the Crafty on Atlantic Blvd for years.. and the portions are great and I only ever order one thing. The Blue Crab Special.The host Alexis on Atlantic Blvd do me right all the time. Tell the Westside location where you get your crabs from to help them out lol!

Food was good however no military discount. Sad face. As well as management is not very accommodating. I do not believe in paying for bad service or bad food. However I find myself doing that sometimes. To celebrate a family members birthday, this was her choice, so I was there a second time. The food was good and waitress as well. However just as the 1st time I was there. My issue was the management. For this reason, this is not a I will choose.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Since we don’t have a Mr and Mrs Crabs in Jacksonville, I’ve been trying lots of different places that are similarly names. None compare to Crafty Crab. Hands down, best crab boil in Jacksonville. Crab is always perfectly cooked and very fast. I like my stuff super hot and their hottest seasoning is just right. The location is a bit rough so go during the day. $20-30 cheaper to get through them directly vs DoorDash.

I went on a Wednesday night which they do karaoke and that is the reason why myself and a few friends and family went but it took us at least 15 minutes of sitting at a table before a waitress even showed up to take out drink orders she wasn’t very professional because she knew music was being played and still refused to even lean toward us so that she can hear our order or that we can hear her it felt very difficult to communicate with her I don’t blame it on the music because the table next to us another staff member was waiting on the table and I clearly heard that waitress talking to those customers and taking their orders with no complaints but my overall experience because I really went there for the karaoke and the outing with family and friends was joyful and I enjoyed the atmosphere

This is basically the Chum Bucket. The bathrooms were so bad, some of us peed outside. The boil (I did the half-pound snow crab & shrimp) was just ok. The “seasoning” was dark, it looked like chewing tobacco. The crab had a slight aftertaste (?). The water was straight from the St. John’s River. Two male patrons inside were antagonizing a waitress because of her hairstyle. We will not be returning.

This is our first time in Jacksonville Flordia, and I can say that this is by far one of the best seafood restaurants we have gone to by far. Regardless of the other reviews, we had amazing customer service. Our waitress was very polite, upbeat, and was more then happy to help us with any questions. She even showed us how to eat some of the food. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and they had amazing music. I would most definitely recommend!
