Fantastic flavour and generous portions for the gyros we ordered. Staff was friendly. Dining experience, nothing special. It’s very small, so not really suitable for big groups. Will visit again if in the area.

I read such positive reviews about this place and since I absolutely LOVE Mediterranean food I stopped in while visiting the area. The ladies working the lunch shift on the day I went were pleasant. The menu is interesting, as they do some unique stuff with gyros and sauces on them, so I opted for the Habanero Hades and for a side, I tried their spanakopita.

While waiting for the food, I noticed the napkins at the tables were paper towels removed from the roll and cut in half with scissors… rather odd. The gyro came out first and it was stuffed and looked decent, but it was a little on the salty side and definitely very dry. I had to go ask for more of their tzatziki to put on it. The tzatziki was unlike any I’ve had before as it was smooth, not chunky with cucumbers and garlic and other things in it and of those flavors. It was slightly bland, but had a decent heat.

The Spanakopita was ok, nothing special. When I asked for more sauce, they actually charge $.86 for a small sauce cup of it, I found that odd too.

Overall, I was middle of the road with this visit and thought I might try it again some other time to see if this visit was just a fluke, but when I got back to my hotel my stomach really didn’t appreciate the food I just ate, which rarely happens to me. So, after that part of the experience too, I can’t say I’ll return.

Don’t go here. Ordered today with a good size order and almost nothing was eaten because of how disgusting it is. The chicken tenders were so overcooked the breading fell off and looks like a leather sandal. Their “taziki” IS NOT taziki. It’s a feta water with spices. Anyone that has actually had a gyro with a taziki sauce on it would know the difference or just has no idea what a real gyro is. The fries were hard and dry. The only good thing was the dressing for the Greek salad and I’m sure that was from a bottle from a store. We called and we’re told that a real taziki “doesn’t have cucumber” lol. Be warned, this is not where you want to waste your money. Thanks for a horrible birthday dinner.

My response to owners. Please look over your orders again as you are wrong. We orders at 3:30 and picked it up at 4. If you wish to lie please do it on someone that won’t reply back to it. We ordered through your site online NOT through door dash.
As for you saying “authentic” I have to disagree as a Greek myself with roots to Greece. A proper taziki has cucumber, garlic, yogurt, well I’m sure you understand. I would still like my refund.

The meat is very well seasoned and tender. The chicken was a tad dry on some pieces but had a good flavor. The salad was lacking dressing and cucumber, more olives but they did use real Greek style olives. The hummus was delicious but the quantity vs price was off. Feta fries were very good and there was a good amount of feta.

Overall really good food. I would go back.

Bathroom could have been cleaned on toilet rim.

I did not try the baklava because it was refrigerated.

No fountain drinks. The place could use an inside out update/refresh.

I’m convinced the negative reviews are from competitors. There’s no way someone ate from this place and didn’t like the gyros. My family and I are absolutely addicted! Please don’t listen to the negative reviews!!! This place has the best gyros and they are huge! You almost need a fork and knife… almost. Lol I love the fries too. They are the breaded kind and are so good. We usually order to go and the sauce is already on it and the meat is not dry at all. Not sure what people are talking about. WE LOVE OLYMPOS!!!❤️❤️❤️

I’m just so completely disgusted in this place. They charge damn near 14.00 for a gyro then you get pita bread thats old and soggy . The sandwich dint even hold together because of the bread so soggy because they barely even cook the pita bread. I’m sorry but at almost 14 $ a gyro I believe it should be edible and but a pile of waste .also the meat is dry 9 times out of ten because they don’t cut off gyro reel it’s in a aluminum foil container they put next to the oven and it dries up .I wanted beef jerky I buy beef jerky

I stopped by to grab a chicken gyro and some baklava and it was delicious. The gyro was huge so it’ll feed me twice. The two ladies and the gentleman that were working were very nice. I will be back

Yes yes yes, I want the gyro now. This place is phenomenal. Possibly the best gryro I’ve had in pittsburgh so far. I’m still only a year into my move from New York but this place is no joke. Get the Zeus with original tzatziki (comes with fries inside).

OPA!!!!!

Olympos Gyros is hands down the real deal!!!

I had heard about this restaurant many times but always seemed to drive right past it on Steubenville Pike….until today.

Immediately after walking in the door I was greeted by Steve who was EXTREMELY welcoming! He explained each of the restaurants offerings and made his recommendations accordingly.

The french fries were delectable they seemed twice fried the exterior had a delicate crunch while the inside was perfectly creamy the grape leaves were to die for and the gyro…….oh my goodness was it on point!!!!

The pita was lightly toasted and stuffed with all the makings of a gut busting gastronomic explosion of goodness!!!!

The veggies super fresh the sauce vibrant and explosive and the lamb marinated and seasoned perfectly everything was mouth wateringly perfect which created a party in my mouth!!!

I now regret that had not stopped in at Olympos Gyos sooner but rest assured they are now on my official list of places I WILL visit regularly and would certainly and wholeheartedly recommend others to visit!!!
