went here because it is pretty much the only Vietnamese “restaurant” in the area. I quoted it because this is a TAKE OUT ONLY spot. order @ the windows and go home!

anywho…

straight forward selections. phở, vermicelli, and rice. drinks include slushy, coffee, and fruit teas. I wanted something quick so I had a grilled chicken banh mi & coffee. I usually get pork but they only had shredded pork on the menu but had grilled pork w their vermicelli?

first impression: the lady was very nice. the place is on the corner so street parking only and scarce. the banh mi was heavy! filling out to the side. I’m usually wary of chicken but this dark meat chicken did not disappoint! fresh veggies, perfectly pickled carrots & daikons, along w a hearty serving – this banh mi filled me up unexpectedly! delicious.

the coffee, I was hesitant on it due to it’s lighter color but I was proven wrong. packed a rich, deep flavor. just the right amount of bitter & sweet. the best part is the prices are very reasonable!

also – as I was waiting for the food, the picture of the grilled pork vermicelli was very eye appealing so I had that to go. even though it was eaten hours later, still very good. the pork had a delicious marinade to paired w their soft noodles. veggies & pickled were icing on the cake.

truly enjoyed myself and would definitely recommend this. great for the neighborhood and community!

note: spoke to a different lady @ the window today and was informed 2 things:
-shredded pork is actually grilled pork. not to be confused w bì, which is the stringy pork skin & meat you get w vermicelli bowls
-and they are opened Sunday-Friday. I mentioned their website & IG showed closed Sat & Sun

Loved it at first, but after this experience with my food. My stomach is turnt. I will never order from here again. I called in to give the complaint and she offered to remake the food. But after that who would want to eat anything? I did not want the food remade at all.I didn’t like how when I called you in private to discuss the matter you seemed not to care after I said I didn’t want the food remade and said well what she want me to do? If you were to say ” ill process a refund or issue a credit” on your own accord I would maybe felt better. But I was just calling to give the heads up about it, before I came on here to make this post. I just didn’t like how it was handled.

It’s a nice little spot. I tried their banh mi for the first time, and it was okay. A bit sweeter than I prefer and the beef wasn’t grilled quite enough for my taste, but the bread and fresh vegetables were excellent.

I liked the broth a lot and everything was fresh. That chicken banh mi was good too.

Ordered the food for to go and it came out pretty good even though i was late 20 minutes sitting ducks on the i-76 . Fyi it’s not a dine in spot it’s an order food and go spot which is understandable with the space they got going on. Busy intersection to grab some food so any one driving you might have to double park.

I was taking care of family business in Germantown and wanted some Vietnamese food around lunch time (12:30pm) yesterday. I located this place by Google “near me” and had no prior experience nor knowledge of the restaurant. I ordered a pork banh mi and summer rolls from the counter and waited, seated on the outdoor bench there for about 10 minutes. I don’t know what they did to the pork, but that banh mi was absolutely delicious, one of the best I’ve ever had (the summer rolls and peanut sauce were on point too). Would you believe, the cost for the entire meal was an amazing $11? Was going to go up to Adams Ave, glad I didn’t. This was truly the best move of the day!!! I will definitely be returning!!

the food is good its just that when it comes down to the fresh spring rolls , the lettuce kinda taste old.

the drinks are great, me and my friend always get the same order

the only problem i have is that how do you guys not have enough boba balls? the server said that they only had enough for one serving so i had my friend take the last one and in my matcha i got the mango popping boba. when drinking our drinks, my friend had more than enough boba. enough boba to feed a village. while i was stuck drinking my matcha with mango popping balls that did not compliment the matcha really well (but that besides the point).

This was my first time here. The service was great. The price is really good as well. I ordered the shrimp Pho and summer rolls. I enjoyed them both. However, the Pho lacked a little flavor. It was a little bland, more salt would have been better for my taste. This is just my opinion, though. Please judge for yourself. The summer rolls were also good but lacked something. I just couldn’t put my finger on it. It’s take out only.

Im not sure if I dont like Viet food or if the food here isn’t all that great, but my friend likes it a ton so it’s pretty good! The lettuce in their fresh spring rolls tasted a little older than it should’ve- like its not that we expect it to taste brand new but it tasted much older than we expected.

The boba is great, I always get the tiger sugar milk tea and its yummy and their smoothies are cheap and have real chunks if fruit in them!

If they sold pastries and sweets I think they’d get a ton more sales, I know I’d buy!

The service is great, the lady who takes us is always super nice!
