From the entrance, you usually only see the bar area but inside you will see how spacious it is and how the decor, especially the wall moldings, adds an extra touch to the atmosphere.
The service is amazing, the menu is delicious, and everything we tried was fantastic. I loved the mural with the view of Tappan Zee, such a beautiful detail. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar while waiting—my Manhattan was perfect.
Everything, absolutely everything, is worth it: the service, the atmosphere, the food. It had been a while since my husband and I went out together on a Friday night, and we truly enjoyed our visit to Hudson House.

I ventured here on recommendation from a local bartender. It was a busy Christmas eve yet everyone I encountered made me feel at home. They made a place for me at the bar, including named introductions and happy greetings. I went with a recommendation from Israel the bartender and ordered his coquito and the pork chop. The chop was masterfully cooked, perfectly and evenly. And the coquito equally fantastic. I wish I had taken more photos but I was busy enjoying the moment. Landing here was by chance, and I plan to visit again!

Hudson House is a gem of a restaurant in the chic bohemian Nyack main district.
Cuisine is excellent in taste and execution. Each dish is truly sublime in taste, fresh ingredients and beautifully plated.
The waitstaff are a well organized team. Both pleasant, astute and efficient.
We enjoyed –
– Hearts of Romaine Caeser salad
-White Anchovy Toast
– Braised Hudson Valley Duck, cauliflower purée and kale
– Gnocchi Bolognese
The desserts are to die for!! Sticky Toffee pudding and Key Lime Pie yummy

I had a wonderful meal at the Hudson House. Matt greeted me as I walked in and made me feel welcomed. I had such a delicious meal—paccheri with tiger shrimp, too many to count, and fresh spinach with summer corn and basil. I finished up with an amazing Key Lime.

Hudson House has always been my go to if I wanted a more elevated environment for a drink. I have always heard such great reviews on their dinner menu and finally was able to experience it for myself this New Years Eve.
I made a reservation a week in advance and was very excited to spend my evening there. I am a local Nyack resident, and it was raining that evening , they had a coat check.
I cannot say enough great things about the food and the service we received that evening. The food was a 15/10 along with the service and hospitality. That made our evening so special and I cannot wait to come back.

Excellent! Everything was amazing! We started off with the Caesar salad, cheese platter, and prawn special, each one so delicious. Our dinner entrees of the Sea Bass and Lamb chops were heavenly. We finished it off with Key Lime Pie, the Banana Cake special, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding cake which were all scrumptious. The Hudson House is now my favorite restaurant! Our server Alexis was awesome too! Very friendly and professional. We will be back!

I had a solid meal here while traveling for a work trip! Strip steak was cooked excellent and it paired nicely with the generous side of the wild mushrooms. Soup was good and I enjoyed the ricotta dumplings. Definitely give this place a try!

Best restaurant in town! The duck confit and wild mushrooms are impeccable. Matt’s “Crack Pie” is absolutely next-level. Servers make you feel at home. Bartenders have extensive knowledge of flavors and pairings and will help you find the perfect accompaniment to your meal. I try to come back as often as I can!
