We came around noon on a Saturday. There was no wait and we got to order right away. We ordered a wiener box as a portion of the proceeds went to support StoneWall Columbus (April-June 2025). The person who took our order was really nice.
Chili cheese dog: there was def a lot of cheese. I would have preferred a little more chili to balance it out.
Chicago dog: standard Chicago dog.
Mac n Cheese dog: the type of Mac n cheese is like Kraft one. It was put into triangular patties and deep fried. After that it was added to the hot dog into the bun.
The sausage itself was good and had a great snap. Meaty and well cooked. The bun was not soggy, but still soft.
The tater tots were good. Nothing of note.

Gluten free eaters the bun is plain awful. One day I will find a good gluten free hot dog bun!
The place is hard to find as well. The employee there was pleasant. They skimp out on tipping as well. Will not be eating at dirty Frank’s again until they announce a new gf hot dog bun recipe.

Location was key. The place is north of Columbus, in the industrial area. Come here for a quick bite. Service was about 5min wait for 2 dogs and tots. Dog from Hell and Chicago dog. flavor was present. Do notice that this place doesn’t have the full menu and has no dining. Give it a try.

Located in an industrial store front on the west side of Huntley Road near the Schrock Road intersection. Not particularly well marked but accessible with parking. Can be a little intimidating during the evening rush hour. Glad to have a DF location in this area. Carry out only and offers most of the Dirty Frank offerings. Think food truck without the truck. Hours and days are pretty limited: 11 to 7, Wednesday to Saturday. Was craving a Chicago style dog and Dirty Franks version is pretty darn spot on. On my recent drop in a dog and box of tots was only $5! Can’t wait to return to get their chili dog “Wiener Basket”.

I made a mistake on my online order (ordered my tots raunchy and forgot that means it will have real bacon on it) and I called and the guy who answered was so nice and not only remade my tots for me but offered to have vegan bacon bits added. I felt so taken care of and really appreciated his kindness even though I was the one who made the mistake ! Amazing customer service and delicious veggie dogs !!!

I’m from Chicago and know what a good Chi. Dog is.
I live near this new location and was happy to find it. I got 2 Chi Dogs-(this is not a dine in place.). I drove 2 blocks to a parking lot to eat one of my dogs. Awful!!
Didn’t seem like the dog had been cooked. Everything was cold. I was so disappointed. I turned the car around and drove back through rush hour traffic to complain about what I was given and to reorder my Chi Dogs-. Mgr. Came out and said dogs are cooked to (I think he said 162 degrees). They prepared 2 more dogs and I checked them before I left the store,—same thing—cold dogs. He talked about them being cooked and temp checked by thermometer.
BUT, then they put COLD CONDIMENTS on the dogs. I asked for my money back. The money was returned to my debit card and I left disappointed..
I guess I have to go to the 4th Street restaurant to get a good Chi dog.
