We had lunch outside on the covered deck on Saturday. We got a basket of fries for an appetizer. My friend got a chicken cobb salad and I got the Saturday special of buffalo boneless wings. I wish the boneless wings had more sauce on them but overall the food was delicious. I always enjoy going there especially when you can watch the golfers play.

If you’re looking for an event space for a party/reunion/whatever in Mechanicsburg, book this place! We had my dad’s 80th birthday party in the large event room next to the restaurant, and it was perfect. We had about 40 folks there, but it could definitely fit double that at least! It was such a smooth and straight-forward process to reserve, pick food for the catering, etc. But the stand-out of the show was Sam, who helped manage the event and even helped me set up. While attempting to decorate before the party, I had to run and pick something up. When I returned, everything was set up beautifully. I nearly cried. The food was great and everyone was just so nice. Thank you Caddy Shack!

Normally the wings make up for any short comings you might find with the service, but this visit left us disappointed with both. The wings were not nearly as crispy and they were cut at odd angles, making some pieces have more bone and less meat. Our server hardly engaged in any conversation, and I am not sure if he ever cracked a smile. This has been a family favorite for us because of the wings, because of its view of the golf course, and because it’s locally owned. I am willing to give this place another visit, hoping this one was an isolated incident. Otherwise, I’d have given it 2 stars
UPDATE (approximately 1 year later) Things seem to be back on track. We love this locally owned establishment. Our server was friendly and helpful. The wings were meaty and cooked to perfection. The kids menu had a variety of options, and was a bargain for $3. 99. So glad we didn’t give up on this place. It surpasses any of the chain restaurants you’ll find on the Carlisle Pike. .

Great food and great service. Ask to sit on the deck. I got the jumbo basket of wings and my wife got the taco salad. We had a super nice evening and the bill came out to $40 with an appetizer and 2 meals.

We used to love this place but things have really gone downhill. The wait staff is really friendly but the long wait for food can be a bit of an issue.
The real problem though was the cooking and a potential health hazard. My family recently went to eat and ordered med well burgers. My son bit into the burger only to find it was completely raw. Not even rare but raw.
I got the waitresses attention and she put the order in again only for another 30 minute wait for the replacement burger.
There are a lot of good pub food places out there. Save yourself from getting sick and go somewhere else.
