PSA. The owner is someone I greatly admire. He’s a good man who works his tail off on a regular basis to serve others and his work is high quality. He’s the son and grandson of a butcher and he, himself is a master craftsman. He butchers and prepares all the meats in his restaurants himself. And his fish menu is even better for those who appreciate fish over meat for your protein. Order the steak. It will be perfectly prepared for you. The service is very good, at times it can be slow, but the team knows what they are doing. Place is spotless. You can eat off the floors. Great for families or business meetings.

We love this place because the food is consistently delicious, great barbecue joint with great vibe, very good value and chill staff. My wife and I had been there probably eight times already in the last three months and co-hosted Sheva Brachos party for 40 guests, and their group menu and private dining service were impeccable.

Since we couldn’t have Thanksgiving with our family, this was absolutely the right choice! The food and service are always great. The plate looked like your normal Thanksgiving fare, but the flavors were enhanced beyond any homemade meal. Love, love, love this restaurant!

Went here for the first time during our visit to Chicago. It’s a simple storefront on Lincoln Ave. Once we arrived we greeted kindly. The staff our super friendly and I really liked the fact that you could bring your own wine. There are few restaurants in the world that offer that. The food itself was decent and the ambience was nice as well.

This is long overdue but I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Michael and his team for helping us pull together a wonderful private get together for a group of 40 people back in March of this year. Michael worked with our budget, our very specific service requests and our overall lack of organization and showed nothing but grace. The wings and cornbread are my personal favorites, but our menu had plenty of variety for everyone to find something they enjoyed. If you are a fan of smoked bbq, this is a great option! If you’re a fan of private events, it’s a great option! And if you’re a fan of good customer service for private events, it’s an especially great option!
