Just passing through, so first time. Welcoming atmosphere. Fresh salad bar and really good sweet tea. The food was good and large portions too. Couple throwbacks when I saw the vintage wooden bowls for the salad bar and the A1 and 57 steak sauce already on the table for you. Would definitely return.

Stayed in the area and this seemed to be a nice little place and it was don’t let the exterior fool ya. We were able to see Bama beat TN!! I had the salad bar, which was amazing, also grilled chicken tenders and fries. It was all so good.

Pros; the service was pretty good. Catfish was decent as well. Loaded Potato was good. These brought it up to 2 from 1.
Neutral; shrimp was ok but over cooked a bit. Price for most of the menu was reasonable.
Cons; chicken was over cooked to the point peta should be called for animal abuse it was just dry and to be blunt, not good. Okra was soggy and greasy. The steamed vegetables were bland and tasted freezer burnt.
All in all, a few pros but unfortunately just the majority of the meal wasn’t good. I hate to knock a locally owned restaurant, but it is what it is .

Love this place, the food is great and the staff are out of this world. I will travel from Tuscaloosa to Cedar Landing just for the Chicken Fried Steak. Awesome place, don’t miss it.

This is one of our habitual “go back to” places to eat! ❤️ Always fresh yummy salad fixings and fish. They have home town cooking down to the last lil detail. Cedar Landing is just like being with family. Catering is great, too!

We ordered cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, grilled cheese, and hamburger steak. The cheeseburgers and hamburger steak were really good. The waitresses were also really friendly. They were really sweet to my oldest daughter. They also have rocking chairs out on the porch. We will definitely try to go back!
