Go here and go here soon. This place is great. Super fresh everything. Big coolers on one wall where you select meat and veg on trays and skewers. The assortment is broad. I was fortunate to have gone with friends from China, so they guided my choices. You can’t go wrong with the basics here, though. Friendly service and very clean. Open late!

This place is cheap and perfect for people who love hot pot toppings and dipping sauces. The broth was $14, and you get to choose two different types. The dipping sauce is $1.90 (self-service), and it’s 40 cents per stick for the toppings. They also offer colored trays with various options, including meat and veggies, at different prices.

To be honest, the meat isn’t the best quality, but personally, I’m more into dipping my toppings in the sauce. Their broth, though, was insanely good!
Here are my bills, if I didn’t get so much tray that I won’t finished it at all, the price would be so cheap!!!

Nice atmosphere and decor. First time here for dinner and we ordered sliced lamb, sliced beef, and an assortment of vegetables, fish balls with fillings, udon noodles, and tofu. Our soup base was split half-and-half with one side using pork bone broth and the other side using mushroom broth.

Unfortunately my husband had an adverse reaction that evening after consuming the food (vomiting, nausea, dizziness). It seems from past reviews that others may have experienced similar issues. Perhaps the restaurant should look into how it manages the ingredients & storage temperatures inside the fridges where customers go to get these raw items, since things could easily sit too long & food safety could be compromised without a proper system in place. And also I’d suggest changing the sides and dipping sauces/condiments more frequently to prevent items going bad & causing potential health issues in customers. I was OK thankfully. Wish I could leave a higher rating 🙁

Spicy broth and milky broth is likely the way to go. Watch out for the chili oil which will certainly upset your stomach if you eat too much of it. They have the usual assortments of skewers and ingredients. They also have a good selection of free appetizers including pickled potato strips, pickled seaweed salad, watermelon, peanuts, and sweet chips. The sour appetizers are especially great for countering the spiciness! Skip the fried pork

LOVEEE THIS SPOT!!! I love how you can go up and grab your own food that you want to put in the hot pot. So basically they charge based on what you get, each tray has different colors so you’ll know how much is each. They also have an abundance of skewers and their beef skewers are actually really good! Super soft!! The sauce bar has plenty of sauces to choose from. Not an AYCE but I feel like the pricing isn’t bad.

This is the first restaurant in the newly constructed Jade plaza. The plaza was previously destroyed by a fire and has been under construction for the last 4 years! So we were really excited to finally see something occupying the plaza since so many places closed down during Covid.

Da Bin Jia is a skewer hot pot restaurant with lots of different skewers that you boil in the hot pot. Skewer hotpot originated in the city of Chengdu in China’s Sichuan province, and have been popular since the 1980s. There’s a wall of fridge filled with all sorts of self serve hot pot items and there’s also a self serve dipping sauce station. I like the self serve concept and they count up the number of color trays and sticks at the end of the meal to calculate the total bill.

The spicy beef tallow soup is very spicy! I would recommend getting mild, the medium had some serious heat! Everything is labeled in Chinese, but the wait staff were very friendly and helped us with everything. Would definitely recommend checking out this place if you love hot pot!

My boyfriend and I really didn’t know what to eat at 12 o’clock in the evening. I happened to enter this restaurant and found that they were still open. I was very surprised. It’s so late, and there are hot pot skewers to eat. It’s really good. I love duck blood. Shrimp slips and spicy bullfrog are the first choice for your next supper. Must come again!
