Excellent food. I think they were understaffed because the wait after being seated was quite long before we could place our orders. Also, the food was delivered in exaggerated time for the same course. I think we will stick with lunch visits.

I hate to leave a bad review but would like to save people from spending money on a horrible experience like we did. I came here with my son for the hibachi experience. When we came in they said we couldn’t do it because there was only 2 of us. I was planning on buying enough food to make it worth it and extra to bring home to my husband. Instead we sat at a table and the service was nonexistent. We finally waved someone down and ordered. She didnt tell me about the happy hour appetizer special but luckily I already knew about it. Once I asked her she brought me that menu. The food took FOREVER. Im a patient person and this took soooooooo long. They finally brought it out and had forgotten my son’s rice and my noodles. She didnt apologize. Then that took FOREVER. When it finally came out it was inedible. Both tasted like burnt lighter fluid. So basically we waited 30 minutes for nothing because we couldn’t eat it. By then we were just ready to go. No waitress in sight again after waiting forever we finally found a guy and waved him down to get the check. I tried not to be upset because my son was with me but decided at that point we are never coming back. Then my son had to go to the restroom when we were leaving so he came in the ladies room with me. Y’all, they have a huge hole cut out of the wall and pieces of packaging boxes taped up to cover it. Gross! That sealed the deal for me. There are many delicious Japanese restaurants that would love our business and i’ll spend my $70 there instead.

The hibachi grilled salmon lunch special was great, but the appetizers (calamari plus others that I dont remember the names of), the calamari texture was of refried onion rings, so dry and crusted that my friend chocked on them. But, the lunch time crowd was definitely coming in, so maybe my dish selection was off. As for me, I don’t think I will be returning.

We were with our young grandchildren, and they really enjoyed the three turtles in the entrance pond.
It was in late November and the staff kindly took a family picture by the Christmas tree.

Service was great and our experience was unforgettable. The sushi was so fresh and delicious and the chef was so sweet and also made our lunch fun! See pics below. My son absolutely enjoyed! We will certainly be back again. Thank you for making our lunch just amazing and creative!

Food was delicious, and the hibachi chef was very accommodating toward my gluten allergy and this other lady’s shrimp allergy.
I asked for no soy sauce and had explained that I was allergic to gluten. He was VERY careful in making sure my food didn’t touch any of the soy sauce and that the other lady’s food didn’t touch the shrimp.
I asked the waitress, Susan, if I could please give him a tip. She told me she could give it to him, and I told her I would prefer to give it to him. Susan told me that she could go get him, and she did. After giving him a tip and thanking him for being so accommodating towards our allergies, Susan was irritated that we did that and was telling me that they work for tips while the chefs don’t and was being passive aggressive while explaining this. She then started complaining about the tip amount. (both tips being the same amount by the way!) Irritated, my boyfriend told them he’d just take the money back and just give them a twenty to split. She started thanking us in a passive aggressive manner and even patted my shoulder roughly without asking me.
I have gone here multiple times over the years and have NEVER had such issues with the service, nor have I ever been looked down upon for wanting to tip a chef. A tip is supposed to be a sign of gratitude and appreciation and I think some people forget that! Won’t be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere. Wish the young chef that I tipped the best of luck and that he continues to do a great job, because he is the only reason I didn’t give this place a one star review!

We told them about the severe food allergies (mushrooms, shrimp and lobster) in our group and it wasn’t noted. Our first clue should have been when she brought out the soup and it had mushrooms. Then they brought out all the food on the same plate. We let the cook know and after a bit he brought out another plate. There was a mushroom in the veggies. I warned my sister and niece so they took their Benadryl. The noodles had a mushroom in it as well.
Honestly them not taking the food allergies seriously and USING the SAME utensils on EVERYTHING was frustrating. They acted put out because we were reminding them that we had the allergies. Honestly we didn’t yell, we didn’t scream, we didn’t throw anything or make them comp the meal. We did try to ask for our own table knowing that we had food allergies. They sat us with a couple that didn’t have food allergies and that couple acted put out that we had to remind them multiple times about food allergies. We came to this place because it had good reviews but at this point both my sister and niece are at home feeling terrible.

10/10 recommend!! Me and my mom got the onion soup and salad for appetizers, then we got a sushi roll combo, which looked like a crane! It tasted super great! Then we got the mochi green tea and strawberry ice cream, and it tasted great!! The ceiling was super pretty, and at the entrance there were turtles! One big turtle and one small turtle! The service was great too! They were so polite and spoke softly. If you read all of this, you should go there right now. It’s a great place.

Decor was inviting, menu looked great, and the place overall looked promising.. However the service was slow, 2 entrees arrived at different times, and they played country music for some reason and it didn’t fit well with my overall dining experience.
