First time eating here. Pretty solid establishment, love the interior. Although I felt like we were the only ones eating there at the time I heard they just remodeled so I don’t know. But honestly despite the lack of customers, the food was pretty good. I’m fairly picky when it comes to pulled pork, but it was pretty good and so was the mac and cheese. The loaded mashed potatoes was the best thing. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The place was also very clean as well. The only reason why I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because the pulled pork didn’t impress me but like I said, I’m very picky when it comes to that. Would recommend!

All the food i ordered had a great taste, good smoky flavor to the bbq, choice of 5 or 6 flavors of sauces on table. Great hush puppies, and you’ve got to try the stuffed mushrooms. The sweet tea is good, and they have beer on tap, if youre so inclined. Service was fast, and friendly. If you’re not starving don’t even think of ordering a large anything, the serving sizes are HUGE !!! This location is unfortunately permanently CLOSED

I used to love this place when we first moved to Elon. Food was great. About 3 months before they moved to new location food quality declined. BBQ served cold. Hush puppies burnt. Since the move food quality has worsened. Appears to be no consistency and quality control. My last to go order contained stale buns and 1/2 lb of fat large pieces in bbq. And again burnt hush puppies cooked in old grease. So disappointed. Hope they get it together soon.

We had Annie as a waitress. The worse service I have ever received! I honestly never complain and the tea tasted old so I politely asked her for some water as the tea tasted old. She got huffy and said I just made it this morning. I got barbecue, Brunswick stew and a loaded potato. The food was cold. The barbecue was fatty and the Brunswick stew taste like vinegar. Honestly the Brunswick stew was not edible. We had to wait over 25 minutes for the bill. My friend had previously asked for a box. She had to call the place to ask a waitress to come get the bill and the waitress threw the box on the plate and was rude again. NEVER would I think about eating there again. HORRIBLE!

BBQ pulled pork, squash and loaded mashed potatoes were ok. The Brunswick stew did not taste good and baked beans tasted burnt like had been cooked to long. Service was great, our server kept our glasses of sweet tea full.

The pulled pork is a little bland. You have to sauce it. Fried Okra and and hushpuppies are on point. We were from out of town so the locals weren’t too sure about us, but we received great service. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re going through the Great NC BBQ map.

Wished I had never stopped at this place. BBQ was fatty, the stew was not edible, however they brought some baked beans out to replace the stew but it was no better, tasted burnt. The only thing I enjoyed was the French fries. You can’t really screw that up. Won’t eat here again

I have looked at the reviews and noticed that all the food reviews were 5 Stars. I see the issues most had were due to service. I ate here and had a wonderful experience. It looks like a new location and the kinks are finally worked out. I will be back often because the food was phenomenal!

Worst service ever, took 20 min before they even talked to us and took our drink order. Then we told her we wanted to order since we had plenty of time to look over the menu and she told us we had to wait and the proceeded to take another 20 min. before she took our food order. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I was ready to walk out. Plus we go to order and get told they’re out of brisket and ribs, which was the whole reason for coming here and mind you we didn’t get told that until we already had our drinks.
