Recently had some friends visit from out of town and on a whim we decided to give this place a try. I will definitely be eating here again. The spot was very cute. The employees acknowledged us as soon as we entered and were super friendly, you can tell the staffed loved working here. Service with a smile is best described. Our host was amazing in helping us make our selections. The food was delish and so flavorful. Can’t wait to return.

My server was very polite and well mannered. The food was amazing i give it 9 outta 10. My drink was 10 outta 10 which was the Brooklyn Boy. My server was also our bartender so deff 10 outta 10. The surf and turf was so good i ordered a side of mac N cheese and curry shrimp with white rice. My man also ordered a surf and turf (ate some of my mac N cheese and loved it so he ordered another side lol i really loved the steak i ordered well done and it was covered in sauce that was so good. I ordered a shot of wray & nephew and that made the night. I love that this place reminded me of home the authentic music and art work and vibes. Great service i booked reservations just in case but was well worth it. Thank you so much for making our Valentines Day Date night special 🙂

I had an incredible time at Jasmine’s Caribbean Cuisine The food is absolutely top-tier—the oxtail was delicious and fall-off-the-bone tender, and the chicken pasta was flavorful and perfectly cooked.
The vibes were 10/10 thanks to the amazing DJ who kept the energy high all night. Even though it was busy, the service was fast and the bartender made some excellent drinks. Definitely a new favorite spot in the area.

Jasmine’s ambiance was super cute and inviting! However, I was a bit disappointed with the food—it didn’t quite live up to the hype from the reviews. The service was fine, and the curry chicken was actually really good. My dish was vegan, but the menu only listed it as “vegetables.” I believe it should clearly label what vegetables are included. Unfortunately, my meal came with a lot of corn, which I’m allergic to, and I ended up feeling sick later.

I didn’t send my food back because I generally avoid doing that restaurants can sometimes take offense but it did affect my experience. On a positive note, the music and overall vibe were great! Jasmine’s has so much potential to be a superb restaurant, but I’d love to see more thoughtful and well-prepared vegan options. Also, the calamari came out in small bits and pieces instead of whole rings, which was surprising.

Jasmine’s Caribbean cuisine is my favorite spot to taste the unique and robust flavors of the Caribbean.

I’ve tried oxtail for the first time and it was so tasty. I particularly liked the curry chicken and their coconut rice!

The hospitality is unmatched and the vibe is energetic.

This is an absolute must visit for an amazing time!

My friend and I celebrated our December birthdays there. First thing first, Austin who answered several of my calls prior to our reservation was super patient and kind. This was my first time there. It’s a lot smaller than I thought buy cozy and inviting. I’m annoyed with myself because I didn’t get the servers name. She was the best. So sweet, friendly and accommodating… a real gem. She took pics of us and was wonderful. The prices were very reasonable. We ordered the coconut shrimp and fried calamari as appetizers which were very fresh and delicious. We both had the Island Gyal cocktail which was not as strong as I would have liked but very nicely presented and taste very good. Out entrees were the curry shrimp with rice and peas and oxtail with rice and peas. The presentation again was on point and portion was good. I did expect the flavor to be a bit richer in the oxtail but was falling off the bone tender and I did like it. We both had a slice of red velvet cake at the end of our meal which was sooo good! I had a very nice time and enjoyed it very much. I do look forward to dining there again. Thank you to the amazing server who again was awesome!

Satisfied doesn’t even begin to cover it ✨ I’d been hearing the hype about this place and had to see for myself while I was in town. I had the honor of meeting the owner (Chef Basil Jones, super cool convo ), devoured some Rasta Pasta with Oxtail , and soaked in the vibes. Great food, great drinks, great people—10/10 recommend!”

Jasmine’s Caribbean is a laid back casual spot located right off Broadway. Perfect if you want some bites before or after a show, or if you just want to catch a vibe with some good eats.

Jerk Chicken Wings – One thing about me, I love spice, so when the waitress said are you sure, I said bring it on. It definitely had that kick I was looking for. Devoured I was looking for.

Peppa Shrimp – Just like the wings, nice and spicy. I was more than happy with these and their house made Pepper sauce.

Lobster Tail – I knew I wanted to Surf and just look at that thing. Absolutely massive, well cooked, and so tasty. This did not disappoint.

Jazzy Pasta – The pasta had some really nice ratios and I enjoyed a lot. But let me tell you now, when I added some of the Oxtails to this, it took this dish to another level. I HIGHLY recommend that you try it as well!

Oxtail – Slow-cooked, and savory, fall off the bone…this is exactly what their menu said, and they didn’t tell a lie. I would eat this everyday if I could. I wanted to try it with rice, but I only have one stomach. That said, the combination with the pasta with amazing.

Bread Pudding – This was the dessert I was looking. The soft, warm bread pudding was lathered with syrup and the vanilla ice cream was a perfect compliment.

I thoroughly enjoyed Jasmine’s. Some people think that it’s impossible to find good Caribbean food outside of Harlem, but I suggest they give this spot a shot. There is a lot more I want to try in this menu, so I’ll see about that next time. Happy Eating!
