I recently visited for Taco Mania as part of RI Food Fights, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The service was both quick and friendly. We ordered at the counter and received all our food within about ten minutes, which was impressive given how busy it was.
We tried the chicken tacos, chicken tortilla soup, and a birria burrito, and each dish was outstanding. The flavors were fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced. This is the kind of food that makes you pause after the first bite. Everything tasted homemade and full of care. Overall, they delivered with excellent food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning for more.

Not only was the food absolutely delicious and hearty but the service was incredible and everyone so lovely! Freshly made tortilla chips and salsa was a wonderful start. The birria tacos on homemade tortillas succulent and flavorful and the tamarind margarita super refreshing! If you’re in the area, and even if you’re not, you should definitely give this place a try!

Stopped in for RI Food Fights Taco Mania!
It’s a small clean, cute place with bright colors and Mexican Music playing in the background. I placed my order to go, but there are a few tables for dine in, plus a table outside if that’s your preference.
The staff was very friendly and attentive.
I had a couple hard shell Carnitas Tacos and one Birria Taco. They were all great!
I’ll have to stop back in sometime soon and give the the Mole Pablano Chicken Enchiladas a try.

The Casa Azul Taqueria menu stands out. Your menu has to when their is so much good competition in Rhode Island.
Its a small place, but you can tell its busy because everyone wants to get food here. Aside from the regular menu are the seasonal specials, and the drink menu makes it even better.

Some of the very best birria and consome I have had in years. Absolutely yummy. I poured it down my throat it was so good. Service is wonderfully friendly. There aren’t a lot of seats here. So try to go when it’s not super busy. Or eat in your car, while it’s hot lol. Amazing spot. Good prices. Can’t wait to go back.

Our meal was delicious and our food was hot, fresh, and ready quickly. The birria nachos were topped generously but still packaged thoughtfully to keep the chips from getting too soggy for takeout. They were phenomenal! We will definitely be coming back.

Small but Mighty! Casa Azul Taqueria is an unassuming restaurant just 5 min drive from Roger Williams. They had a wide array of menu options, including vegan and vegetarian options. Although there are only a few sit down tables inside, this place is a must for dine in or carry out if you’re in the area! Very accommodating with my children.

I visited Casa Azul based on a recommendation from my friend who came from Texas. She mentioned that there are many great Mexican restaurants in Texas, and Casa Azul matches their quality in Rhode Island. After trying it, I understand why she said that.
The atmosphere at Casa Azul is fun and exotic, making me feel like I was in Mexico. The food was authentic and delicious. I had tacos, grilled shrimp, and chicken with rice and beans, and nachos with guacamole. Everything was fantastic.
I’ve been there twice and even tried their churros and flan, which were delightful. Everyone I’ve taken there has been very satisfied and happy with their experience.
