So i love the bagels grew up going here.. But over all, I am gluten free as I am allergic as of 2022. So Now I ordered the gluten free bagels from Barrons thinking they made them themselves and just make a small batch of gluten free bagels, since it said online, made without gluten. I didn’t realize they were just frozen, possibly store bought bagels… now as a bagel place I would suggest not giving that option if they are frozen tiny little bagels when u hand make your own bagels. Even if u sold out of homemade gluten free ones because of limited batching, would be WAY better than selling gluten free freezer burnt bagels to ur customers. Also I loved my cream cheese but had no bagel to eat it on since my were actual ice pucks.. and had ice in them. At least defrost them prior to sending them out with a customer…

I’m NJ born and raised, so I’ve eaten way too many bagels… this tho, was top tier. I’m still thinking about my bagel wishing I had another bite. The bagel is fluffy, thick and has good flavor and most importantly they didn’t skimp on the fillings. It was the perfect ratio of bagel to insides. My only regret is that I wish I had discovered them sooner and maybe bought myself a second bagel for later.

I’ve never seen business owners charge customers for toasting bread. That’s $4.25 for a plain cream cheese bagel.
On top of already expensive prices and being cash only, this is not an establishment I want to come back to.

Barons Bagels are really great. There are so big there really is no hole! They make a lot of flavors and they’re all great. The cream cheese blends are amazing. They only thing I don’t like is that they don’t fit in my giant slot toaster.

Every time I’m in town, I try to stop by for my usual Barons bagel order.. however, this trip I had no time. Surprise surprise, my brother picked up my usual and gave it to me before I took off to the UK..
Now I’m in London enjoying my Barons bagel. 😉
Shoutout to Brandon G for my nostalgic bite! #TravelWithBarons

Outstanding breakfast sandwiches and bagels, though they tend to overdo it with the spreads. Super nice young lady (Emily) behind the counter and staff is attentive and on task. Only downside is this place is usually a mob scene and has limited storefront parking.

Running errands this morning and stopped her for the First Time. Another Small Business that has exceeded our expectations.
Huge and nicely priced sandwiches, friendly staff that apologized for the wait.
As mentioned the sandwich was larger than many other Small Businesses or Franchises.
My choice was Pork Roll, Eggs, Cheese, Jalapenos with SPK on a toasted delicious Roll.
The sandwich had 2 Eggs and thicker slices of Pork Roll instead of the current normal of paper thin slices as found on many of the others throughout New Jersey.
Kit had her usual Pork Roll, Eggs and Cheese with nothing on it.
Situated on a delicious large Roll.
Definitely would recommend this spot for other’s to try!!!

I visited this place for the first time on 10/25/25, and the staff were super nice and welcoming! They had a cash minimum, but instead of turning me away, they took the time to show me another payment option that worked for both of us. I really appreciated how they went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Definitely recommend this place — great customer service and friendly staff!

My experience here was awful. The most important part is that they totally messed up my bagel, I asked for a bagel toasted with cream cheese and they put enough cream cheese on it to make it look like a double cheeseburger. It was way more cream cheese than anyone would ever ask for. Completely disgusting and unedible. When I was ordering, the woman who owns the place began talking loudly to a customer behind me who had just walked in, over me and the girl at the counter. I couldn’t hear a damn thing because that woman would not shut her mouth for a single second. Then when I got to pay I found out that they don’t take credit. Only cash in 2025. And the bagel sucked. Don’t go here.
