What a wonderful hidden gem in Newport! Had a wonderful evening! Staff is very welcoming, helpful, & friendly. Ashley was a wonderful waitress! She really made us feel special!

The decor was clean, roomy, & comfortable. We had the roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer, followed by the Smoked ribs and Kale salad! The flavors were phenomenal! A professionally constructed Korean fusion menu. The spices and herbs were skillfully balanced and the presentation is artfully executed! The Little Clam ranks right up there with Stoneacre Brasserie if not higher!

Had the unexpected pleasure to meet Chef Antonio Wormley fresh off of his appearance on the 25th season of Hell’s Kitchen. After tonight’s meal I can see why he finished in the top 12!

Went for brunch and overall the experience was very good. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food. I think I enjoyed it the least, and not because it wasn’t good, it’s that it was a little different than what I expected. I ordered biscuits with sausage gravy and I’m used to the traditional big fluffy biscuits with the thick, creamy, white sausage gravy. What I got was very different. It was still a good plate of food but I would likely try something different next time (and I will certainly go again). The drinks….coffee was ok, Bloody Mary’s were very good, mimosas good as well. The “fresh” OJ was probably Tropicana, or something similar. I would have liked a fresh squeezed option, seeing as how the mimosa says that it contains just such an item. The French toast was very good. Service was very good. We had a new waitress but she was fantastic. Definitely worth a try. I have a child who attends Salve Regina so I’ll be staying at the Wayfinder often and plan to eat here many more times. If you are in the area, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I ate here twice during my stay at Wayfinder. Our breakfast was delicious and although very slow, I thought the service was great. However, we also had dinner here for Valentine’s Day and I left disappointed. The oysters were fantastic. The clam dish was good, however, the dish was very cold towards the top. Maybe it was sitting for a while or the hot broth was just poured on the bottom while the top of the dish was never heated. We also ordered their $125 special with ribeye, broccoli, and baked potatoes with caviar. We received the dish without the caviar which gave me pause. To order such an expensive dish, I would hope for the utmost perfection. Upon tasting the dish, you could tell it was prepared very well, however, once again everything was cold as if it had been sitting out for a while. I also felt our server was forgetful and inattentive. I think this restaurant has some kinks they need to work out. I would really like to give a better review because I could tell the food would be delicious at the correct temperature. However, for the price you pay to eat here, I had higher expectations.

Had the best dinner at Little Clam. Chef Antonio is incredibly talented and the food was fantastic. I went wild on the specials and they were all super fresh and inventive. The locally caught tuna was phenomenal. The cocktails were also amazing. Everything was made in house and truly unique. Don’t skip dessert! The sticky toffee pudding was insane. Highly recommend Little Clam!

Food was excellent! Everything was fresh made to order, and delicious. The burger I had may be the best I have ever had and the fries were perfect, crisp and lightly salted. For dessert had the sticky toffee pudding, again, fresh made with a great caramel sauce. They also have a very nice selection of beers on tap. The restaurant is attached to the Wayfinder Inn, I feel like I really found a gem with this place.

Absolutely awful establishment. Rude staff, from the waitress to chef to manager. Items were missing in our order. They were incredibly slow, and after we were told we couldn’t sit where we wanted to in an empty restaurant, I ordered an egg & avocado that came with CHILLI PEPPER ALL OVER IT. I have an ALLERGY TO CAPSAICIN AND THEY PUT CAPSAICIN all over my food. And then reprimanded ME for having an allergy. They took FOREVER to replace The egg and avocado and threw off the timing of my entire birthday weekend. We waited a total of one hour for to go food!!!!! Do not eat here!!! Finally, the egg they re made me was RAW and inedible and didn’t feel safe to eat. I will never ever come back here, this is one of the worst restaurants in Rhode Island. By the time they finished making me another inedible egg, the French toast I had waiting was freezing and I just threw it out. Happy birthday to me.

Came here last weekend a few times while we stayed at the hotel. The drinks and food were impeccable. The beef tartare was served in bone marrow and it was one of the best I’ve had. The breakfast was also delightful – the home fries were so perfectly crisped, I could eat them daily. The non alcoholic beverages were also truly amazing – the summer wind was my favorite!
The staff was the cherry on top of everything. They were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The manager even made a point to accommodate and make our experience a good one.
Overall, great service, drinks, and food. Will definitely be back!!

This meal was incredible. We were seriously flabbergasted since we just happened to stay in the attached hotel. The beef tartare was excellent, but what blew us away was the “whole fish” which turned out to be a journey across southeast Asian flavors.

It’s a whole platter where you make lettuce hand rolls with the tender, flavorful fish (fresh local sea bass tonight), sushi rice, and at least half a dozen delicious add-ins and sauces. So many flavors yet each one perfectly done and nothing out of place. Even a fun and interesting experience beyond the flavors. Just YES.

While staying at the WayFinder hotel, we were happy to be able to try this gem of a restaurant just 1 month after they opened!

We came here for Breakfast and Dinner (the night before). Here are the items we ordered (as of 7/2025) starting from breakfast items:

– Avocado Toast -$14 – Good flavor and a large amount of avocados. If you like avocado toast then definitely give this one a go.

– Pancakes – $14 – I would pass on this one. It seems to be cornbread based and while it was fluffy and tender, I’d prefer the texture of a more typical pancake. Also since you get only 1 pancake, the value isn’t there.

– Farmhouse Special ($12 plus $4 for a side of sausage). Hashbrowns and sausage were delicious (big props to the sausage!). Eggs were cooked as requested. The jam also paired nicely with the brioche toast.

Dinner items below:

– Baby Back Rib Special – $19 – Tender ribs and the gochujang sauce paired quite well with this dish. Decent quantity.

– Salt and Pepper Squid – $17 – Extremely fresh and a must have if you like calamari! This was a favorite.

– Beef Tartare – $21 – This was a delicious dish. The bone marrow it comes with is fatty with great beefy flavor and pairs well with the beef tartare and toast points it comes with.

– Oyster Po’Boy – $17 – Great oysters but we were surprised it came as 3 sliders. Quantity was okay.

Overall for a hotel restaurant this place was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to return to try their burgers which we were told was delicious. Next time!
