Our waitress/bar maid was so friendly with a bright smile. She was quick and attentive.She was great with our son as well. We caught Happy Hour for the half priced appetizers. Really enjoyed the fried mushrooms and potato skins. My son liked his burger, fries, and brownie. The chicken was good but I didn’t care for the mashed potatoes. A friend of ours got the wet burrito. That thing is huge. I am definitely going to try it next time.

Food and service was great. Ordered some cheese curds for some Wisconsin buddies that were in town. They are curd fans, and said that’s some of the best They’ve had. Considering they are from the home of curds that said alot. Burgers were great as well.
I seen a lot of reviews on here, alot of the bad reviews are from people I know were previous customers to the last owners. If you dont like change, you dont have to stage bad reviews, grow up. The service and food is very good.

Friday night fish fry food was excellent! Fish had great flavor, nice breading did not over power the fish and it was served nice and hot. Coleslaw was fresh and creamy. The hushpuppies had good flavor and were moist. The tartar sauce taste like it was homemade, I am pretty sure it was. Met the owner who appreciates his customers and is working hard to get things right for his customers.

The food here is absolutely delicious. I tried one of their foot long hot dogs, which was called the danger dog that had pico, jalapeno, bacon, and few other things on it. Best hot dog I’ve had in a while. Our waitress was nice as well. This place is also clean and well taken care of. Would highly recommend trying this place in you’re in Bangor.

Went in to have dinner with my family being that the Bangor tavern had some of the best burgers around thinking it would be the same. When we got there the server acted like we weren’t even there. Watched the waitress help a table that came in probably 5 mins after us before we even got asked what we wanted to drink and then it was like we were breaking the waitress arm just for a refill. When we got our food it was cold undercooked and nasty. So I was completely wrong thinking their food might be as good as the taverns was but I would of rather had McDonald’s burgers then the nasty food they served and dealt with the service at McDonald’s because at least you know they are unprofessional most the time. I would not recommend thier food to my worst enemy or a homeless person. I would rather go hungry before I ever eat here again.

The best fried pickles in SW Michigan. The waitresses are always kind. The place has a bad wrap because of the way it used to be when under different ownership, but the new owner is engaged with the community, obviously trying his best. One time, they accidentally shorted us 3 tacos for a to go order. They didn’t make excuses, just remade the food, apologized and that was that. I greatly respect when businesses make mistakes and then own it and fix it right away. You can tell they care about their restaurant deeply. Give them a chance and keep in mind, they are newer and sorting things out. If you go once and it isn’t the best, try again. They’re improving every time I go.
