An absolutely awesome neighborhood spot! I was there for a charity trivia night, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier! They have an excellent drinks list with some great options, whether you’re looking for a classy night out or you’re morning coffee. Hemingway’s is an absolute gem in downtown Maysville, KY. The owner, Tony, was super friendly and engaging — we ended up drinking whiskey together, and his knowledge of Kentucky bourbon history is incredible. The atmosphere is spot on, with live music, cozy chill areas, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay all night. This is the kind of place that makes me wish I lived here just so I could come back all the time. Highly recommend for both coffee and bourbon lovers.

Did a blanket class here and it is just beyond the cutest cozest place in downtown maysville you could go to relax, read, have a coffee, hot chocolate or something stronger if you prefer. The atmosphere was so quiet, friendly and I really enjoyed myself!

I stopped here by chance on a road trip back home with my dad and his girlfriend yesterday to Annapolis MD. The five-star reviews are no exaggeration. I had one of the best iced lattes I’ve ever had (honey, cinnamon and vanilla as recommended by our awesome bartender) and my dad got *the best* old fashioned we’ve ever tasted. Had I not been driving I would have absolutely had a few drinks! The building is beautiful and it has the best vibes, it’s everything you’d ever want in a local coffee / cocktail spot. If you’re in Maysville, do not pass on this place!

Was a true joy to meet with and get to know the history about how Hemingway’s became the bar that people in Maysville talk about. You know it’s a great spot when the proprietor goes around to talk to his patrons. Hemingways is a true gem in Maysville. Thank you to the bar tender at Kenton Stories with Spirit who sent us in the right direction. We have made memories in Maysville, Hemingways will be talked about all the way home to Madison WI.
