I really wanted to like this place, but DaVinci’s was a massive letdown. For $30, I expected a quality meal; instead, I got sandwiches that felt like an afterthought.
The Meatball Sub: This was incredibly dry. A real meatball sub should be swimming in sauce and melted cheese. This was just dry meatballs on bread that felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp too long. Honestly? I’ve had better at Subway, which is a sad thing to have to say.
The Cheesesteak: Being from the East Coast, I know what a cheesesteak should be, and this isn’t it. The menu promises peppers and onions, but I found maybe five or six sad, frozen-tasting pieces. There was barely any cheese—on a cheesesteak. It was just dry, unseasoned meat on dry bread.
It feels like no research went into what actually makes these sandwiches good. If this shop opened on the East Coast, it wouldn’t last a week. Save your money and go somewhere that understands the “cheese” and “sauce” parts of the recipe. I won’t be back.

I had to give it three stars for atmosphere just because it’s in a minimart, service was fine wasn’t above and beyond, but it wasn’t horrible either. As far as the food goes, I ordered a large Philly and it was pretty decent however, I didn’t think it was anything to write home about like a lot of the other reviews I’ve seen about the place. Maybe I’m just spoiled from growing up further south and having a place like tubs subs or Philly ya belly Close by. If you’re in the area, I’d say it’s worth a try. I haven’t found anything better in Bellingham.

I love coming to DaVincis and buying a Philly, my only issue is they haven’t been consistent, I received a philly with steak that was not cooked all the way and was still cold! I just hope all your workers are doing what they need to meet food safety standards! Or take them off the grill if they can’t use it correctly!

Great sandwiches after a day of biking up on galbraith. Most things in the store are 2 to 3 dollars more.
Their meetball sub or philly are really good.
Order the largest sized sandwhich and have lunch for 2-3 days

Great spot, good prices, better than the chains and a great selection made from fresh ingredients. I wouldn’t be even remotely upset if they opened up another location. Got the turkey bacon avacado and had no complaints, only compliments for both the food and staff. Will come again.

Delicious subs and fantastic Reuben! I haven’t had a Reuben that good in years. They actually put meat on it and they’re not skimpy on the toppings. Staff were super sweet, prices are reasonable, this is now our new sandwich spot for sure!
(Unrelated side note I really love the Michaelangelo sandwich painting )

Renowned for their exceptional cheesesteaks and arguably some of the finest subs in the city, this deli offers a diverse menu that caters to every taste preference. Highly recommended for a memorable sandwich experience.

Have passed by this place so many times, was I ever mistaken. It may look like any old place but the food and service was great. Not to be forgotten was the convience store and gas station. Will not just drive by anymore.

Best sandwiches in Bellingham and it’s not close. Also, I’m not sure how the employees can make delicious food, run a convenience store AND a gas station at the same time… and still be pleasant! Very impressive. Unfortunately, this type of quality and service is not available in most Bellingham places of business.

Fantastic phillys! I hadn’t been there in awhile and hasn’t changed as far as the food goes!
Be nice to ditch that window at the counter. VERY hard to communicate. Great seating outside. I do miss the indoor seating. Especially in this specific area where it rains more days then not. What’s the reasoning for getting rid of that??
