The food and coffee were both excellent, especially the Nordic Waffle Sandwich, and the service was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. The space itself brings me right back to my college days of wanting a cozy, artsy space to inspire my inner-artist.

Good food. Selection was good. Somewhat long wait for food so don’t be in a rush- I’d say good half hour..daughter said waffles were meh, I had Brussels they were good. Little on the pricey side but all in all a good vibe.

In Appleton for a conference. Asked the Appleton Visitor Center for a good place for breakfast and they suggested Acoca. Turned out to be an excellent choice.
The place has a nice coffee shop/cafe feel to it. It’s spacious, well lit, and has plenty of options for seating. Got a friendly greeting and help with ordering. Ended up deciding on one of the Brussel Sprout Bowls, and the Lox/Egg Croissant. After putting the order in, including drinks, we got a number and waited at the table.
The drinks came out in short order, and then the food a little after that. Everything was hot, well seasoned and good portions (I have never had that much Lox on a sandwich!). The Brussel Sprout Bowl had plenty of interesting textures with bacon, and nuts. The eggs were a perfect easy over. (one suggestion, we typically get our Brussel Sprouts a bit more roasted).
Definitely a very good choice for breakfast. Would love to come back next time we are in town.

Food was fantastic. Breakfast burrito was more like a panini but in a good way, with good potatoes on the side. Veggie quiche was also very good, really loved the crust. Coffee (cortados) was fairly good; just not top tier if you are a “coffee snob.” Would recommend!

I met the owner, Bill, at another restaurant and came by to check them out. What a great spot! They have an exceptional selection of coffee from around the world and the food is delicious. I got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with Kenyan coffee to drink. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town. Thanks Bill and the entire ACOCA staff!

Why are you still using styrofoam cups for to-go orders? It has been banned in Europe. And everyone knows it is toxic. If you don’t believe me, just Google: “Is styrofoam toxic,” and this is what you’ll get: “Styrofoam (polystyrene) poses health risks, particularly when heated, as it can leach styrene—a likely human carcinogen.” And you put hot coffee in it!! America, always beholden to interests, hasn’t banned it yet, but you should! Common, be better than that.

This was an unexpected delightful experience, one would think the industrial modern interior with hints of postmodern to be lighting to this vast space. The coffee is dark and delicious, the lattes are creamy tasty and full of flavor! The quiche was crispy, firm and tasted like homemade. The enlarged map of Appleton is a delightful touch and find once you stumble across it. The cutlery is heavy enough to make your grandparents proud!
Remember to not judge a book by it’s cover and pop in to discover this great space.

Great local place with a fun atmosphere and kid friendly. They were very accommodating when my kids requested “extra chocolatey” hot chocolate. Love this place, a great way to spend time with dear ones whenever I come home.

My favorite place on College Ave! This place is HUGE. I absolutely love this coffee shop. It is the perfect place to hang, meet with friends, or even take a mid afternoon lunch break! Their yogurt parfait has been my go-to in the morning and I love trying the barista recommendations for my coffee or tea fix! You truly can’t go wrong here – especially if you want a nice, vibey, large space with lots of natural lighting!

My friend and I ate outside on a sunny day. The service was fast and helpful. The atmosphere was chill and very clean. I especially appreciated the fact that the line wasn’t too long and the location is easy associable. Good food, great experience.
