No heat during the winter instead they have space heaters throughout the restaurant and no ac during the summer. Out of pop. This place doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to fix anything.

Absolutely unacceptable. How does an ice cream place not have ice cream—repeatedly? Either the machine is always “broken” or they’re somehow out of everything. I thought McDonald’s owned that reputation, but nope—Monmouth Dairy Queen has officially claimed it.
I’ve been here five times in two months, and not once have they been able to fully complete my order. That’s not bad luck—that’s straight-up incompetence. This feels like either terrible management, zero inventory control, or picking and choosing what you feel like serving that day. Stop wasting customers’ time if you can’t run an ice cream shop that actually sells ice cream.

In my 9 years of working in the fast food industry I have never encountered such an unfriendly, inattentive, slow working group of people. When I look at the drive thru screen and the front desk order screen and see that there are only 1, maybe even 2 orders, I do not see why 2 blizzards take more than 15 minutes to make, clearly no one pays attention to anything but their phones and gossip with their coworkers. On top of that, the service of this group of people is terribly rude. In the 6-8 people I have seen working there (as I frequently work delivery) TWO employees had the decency to at least say “Thank you for your patience, I’m sorry about the wait” Mind you, there is an extremely long wait almost every time I pick up an order. I have never wanted to be this type of person as I have not written many reviews in my life. But this establishment is horribly run. And the management clearly does not care about how it’s run, nor does the owner of this location.

Been here 5 times in the last 6 months and haven’t been able to get what we wanted any of those times. Either out of a product (strawberries, cheesecake pieces, etc.), or something isn’t working. Today, it was both. Both machines weren’t working for vanilla ice cream, one had ice cream spewing out the side. The cashier was high strung and although they tried to stay friendly, language was used and the high pitch of their voice was… a lot. Can’t blame them for being stuck there like that with loads of unhappy people coming through, though.
My partner, who has been the one who never got what he wanted, said he didn’t care anymore and now expects it to always happen.
I love DQ and have fond memories (it was my first job), but I want to avoid this one at all costs.

The drive thru takes for forever no matter how many cars. 50% of the time they screw up my order. Just now i got the wrong burger, and I just found a weird piece of blunt wrap or something in my sundae. The drink tastes like they haven’t cleaned the lines in years or sanitized the nozzles regularly. It a shame that the community cant enjoy the classic food of Dairy Queen without dealing with this. Maybe better training. Maybe hire people that can take an order correctly and treat everyone like valued customer not pick and choice who will receive quality food and service. Why your relations team giving reviews bad reviewer suspension scam links? How about just improve your service.

Every time I’ve gone they have been out of something or a machine was down. Over cleanliness of the resturant is poor. Poor parking and drive through layout. Would not recommend this dairy queen.

There was literally black specks all in my starry cup which was pretty disgusting. the starry also tasted extremely watered down. the fries were soggy and cold. the “chicken sandwich” was literally 2 chicken strips on bread. I’ve previously watched them clear the drive through line while im the one person inside waiting for food inside. It was Extremely understaffed. if you dont have the employees, close instead selling truly terrible food and drink.

I’m sorry to say this place has really gone down hill. The food is good but the people who work here are the absolute rudest ever. I’ve been here twice in the last month… thinking the first time was just a mistake but they were just as rude and unprofessional the second time, so that’s it for me.

Probably the worst experience and place in town. Really needs a huge overall. upset I paid cash because I didn’t even get what I ordered 45 minutes after ordering it, pickup inside. I had to be asked what did I even order after 30 minutes. They couldn’t hand me it upside down because it was already mostly melted, empty and missing all the parts to a smores.
