A nice coney in Rochester
We came for a late breakfast / early lunch while in the area. Overall it was a good experience.
Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu. It wasn’t too busy but they didn’t have a lot of staff so the wait was average but no problem.
They have a medium sized menu which is nice, a good amount of choices but not overwhelming.
The food came out pretty fast and was overall good. The tuna melt I had was great and the omelette was decent.
Overall I can recommend this National Coney Island.

Low rating only because it is so close to Christmas and the place was not properly staffed. It was very unfair to the cooks, servers and everyone in between who worked their tail off when it hit dinner time and suddenly there were 12 new tables. The staff did as best and fast as they were able too without rushing/messing up orders. The front and back of house were amazing. But whoever staffed skeleton crew for the busiest time in a shopping mall needs work.

A repeat visit to a particular Coney place so I moved off the dogs and went with a gyro & onion rings.
The gyro was good, the pita soft, the tzatziki well flavored. The rings were hot and yummy. But $4.50 for the amount of onion rings you get is a bit much. A quarter of an onion, some batter & hot oil. For that matter, $3.50 for fries seems a bit high. (That does seem to be the trend, keep the entree price low by raising side, dessert & drink prices. It ain’t just here, folks!)
Melissa was the nicest, even just discussing other restaurants – different cuisines – in the area for this newbie to the area.

Always love nationals coneys, they are the best this national coney Island is a great location, very conveniently located to shopping nice to stop and take a break, however they need to do something about the seats in their booths when you sit down you sink to the floor and the table ends up at your chin, very uncomfortable pass by the restaurant because of the discomfort it’s that bad, please fix these seats

I did have the special bourbon burger which was huge and good.
Plenty of parking. They alwo have pies from Achatz Pie. Great pies!

WORST WAITRESSING.HERE!! JORDAN and some.chick weren’t good at all. The first I got.here back in August was good during the day time. This city should be better than all the rest. These girls were too lazy. Never came back for a drink or asked if we wanted more. I have been to about 15 other Coney places never had a bad waitress

No soap in the bathroom. None at he beginning or end of the meal.
The wait staff seemed rude and unknowledgeable about items on the menu.
Food came at different times. I asked for pie warmed up and it was hot and cold like it would be if you put it in a microwave for a few seconds. The blueberry Pancakes had a weird texture and a green tint to it. The bacon was pretty good.

Wow! Big breakfast for $10. Great link sausage. Big glass of pop. All the condiments at the table. And sourdough toast!
