This is the type of mom and pop pizza place you’ve been looking for! On our way in, another customer held the door for me. I mentioned it was my first time there and he said, “you’re gonna love it”. For the super friendly waiter to the excellent food, it was great. Not too busy, clearly loved by the locals, and good food.

On our Culinary Travels we visited Denly Gardens Old World Pizza in Weymouth, MA. We started our evening with some Italian Delights of Homemade Meatballs , Gourmet Antipasto Platter, Baked Mozzarella Plate, White Anchovies and Spicy Sicilian Anchovies in EVOO with some Ice Cold ❄️ Beers . Now for Pizzas we ordered Finocchiona Salami and Hot Peppers Pizza , Linguica and Onion Pizza and a Meatball Pizza Delicious Thin Crust Pizza . The same Italian Family has been running the place since 1933. Wow! The Service was Excellent. Our Waiter was Friendly and on Point with Menu Questions and Recommendations . The Entire Staff was Awesome and made it a Great Dining Experience.

Old joint. Nice guy running the food. No one me if I wanted a beverage as they knew it was my first time there and my physique beckons for someone to get me a drink.. My Old man used to like it and hasnt had pizza in more than a month pre by my youtt and said they changed. More than nice guy running kitchen. Girl running bar should have asked if I wanted a drink or 2. No biggie. Good pizza. $20 for large 1/2 pepper and half cheese. Was only there for 15 mins And others get local good customer prices. I didn’t think anything special.

tonight, March 16, 2025 absolutely horrible! Does the picts look like a hamburger pizza or chicken? buffalo pizza? Yes not so much. I called just to say how disappointed I am that I cannot eat dinner tonight because of what they sold me! Jeremy manager/owner Stated what would you like me to do about it and I said absolutely nothing I just wanted you to know he hung up n me! what a shame

Called ahead and ordered a pepper and onion pizza as well as a pasta Alfredo. They says 35 mins. I got there in 30 and the food was ready. Awesome! I pay and head home (5 mins drive). I open the pizza it’s cold and it’s a cheese, not what I ordered. Mistakes happen. Pizza was floppy and tasted like papa Gino’s. Pasta Alfredo was inedible because the Alfredo had cooled and hardened everything together. I tried to call to ask if I could come back to get the correct pizza but the phones weren’t working.

Not sure why this place gets brought up whenever you mention the best pizza in weymouth. It was pretty generic, overall nothing special. The pizza was greasy and soggy, the crust was pretty good with a buttery taste. Even if this place wasnt constantly recommended it would still have been disappointing.

After all these years the food is as incredible as I remember as a child. Still the same classic rustic indoor space and the antipasto salad, chicken broccoli ziti, pizza, and bread were amazing. The people who work here too are still incredibly kind, I went a while ago so I don’t remember exact names but the original owner’s son or grandson was very easy to chat with and gracious, and our server was super pleasant, even remembering some of my family from years ago. Never experienced this before to go to a restaurant I went to many years ago and still have the same experience. We over enjoyed ourselves! You can smell how delicious your food will taste when you walk in! Busy on the weekends and parking can take a trick or two. Denly’s is also cash only but there’s a little ATM on site. All still worth it!! Lovely people, delicious food, still affordable!

Really nice place for dinner or really good pizza! I always get the pizza there. It’s very thin crust and really delicious.
It’s a bit cramped inside and the parking is tight, but it’s a small price to pay for a great old school place.

Was so disappointed. Pizza was gross. Pretty sure our mushroom pizza was made with canned mushrooms. Pizza is hard to mess up but this place managed to just that.

This is the worst food I’ve ever had in my life from this place! I had to add cheese to my pepperoni pizza! The pasta dish had no flavor it was a bunch of noodles with mushrooms a little bit of chicken a tiny bit of sausage that I fed my dogs! And it taste like olive oil !! I moved here from Atlanta and this is supposed to be a tiny gem…. $36 later ….. my dog had dinner! They have been in business 50+ years… tonight was awful!!
