Absolutely amazing experience! The food at Jewel of India is full of rich, authentic flavors and everything tastes fresh and perfectly cooked. Absolutely loved the food here! We tried the butter chicken,dal makhni, veg korma and garlic naan along with tandoori appetizer ,everything was full of authentic flavor and cooked perfectly. The mango lassi was thick, fresh, and honestly one of the best I’ve had, crispy Jalebi and richness of Rasmalai perfectly balanced our dessert. The seating arrangement is very comfortable and well-spaced, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. A ‘must-visit’ again!

A few weekends ago I had my graduation and birthday party and decided to have my food catered by Jewel of India for 75 guests. They did not disappoint. Everyone raved about the food quality and quantity! The appetizers were delicious and dinner was so flavorful. Jagraj was so kind and accommodating with our schedule because we were running behind on schedule. I would highly recommend Jewel of India as a caterer or just to have dinner there. Try them out because you won’t be disappointed.

This is my second time going here. The first time I ordered Chana masala and it lacked flavor. This time I ordered the Aloo gobi. It also lacked flavor and was Very oily. In the rice was a little crunchy and not in a good way. Definitely not worth the $17 I paid for this meal which was also very small serving. If you’re looking for good Indian food in East San Jose I recommend Mekha of India. They are not opened on Mondays, which is why I gave Jewel of Nile another chance.

Jewel of India catered my cousin’s birthday party, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process, making everything seamless. The food arrived on time and stayed warm, which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend them for both catering and dining in. Their weekday lunch buffet is also a favorite of mine and is consistently delicious.

Chicken curry very oily, salty, very little chicken in one small cup. The nan is ok. Together the cost is $22 but the total chicken quantity would equal 6 small pieces an inch in size of each piece. I would not go back. I did go to the Chinese togo next to it, I got sweet and sour chicken, mixed vegetables, and steam rice for $13, I gave the Chinese store $1 tip. The food was a lot, almost 2 lbs for $13. tastes very good. I would go back to the Chinese Store for lunch.

Food is pathetic, dahi wada is not even near the taste of it. Dal tadka was fine. Gaelic chicken gravy was ok but the chicken was very smelly . Only two people were at the counter not really good at managing. Overall experience is poor

A friend’s mom shared some jalebi. Fresh made is lovely. Slightly cooled can be microwaved for 10 seconds. It is sweet so have it with tea. Next time we will try samosa.
