The Tavern Kitchen & Bar delivered an experience that felt genuinely elevated. The ambience wrapped the whole night in a kind of quiet confidence, like the space already knew it was the right choice. The menu didn’t just impress; it showed real intention. Every dish arrived with flavor that felt fully thought-out, not just thrown together.

The team there made the night even better. Service was attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced. You can tell they take pride in taking good care of their guests.

If you’re looking for a place that blends great food, atmosphere, and hospitality without trying too hard, this spot deserves a visit. It’s the kind of restaurant you walk into once and already know you’ll be back.

Excellent dining experience all around. From the table service, food, and the warm and inviting atmosphere – everything was to notch. Our waiter Mike, made the entire visit just as pleasant – he took the time to thoroughly explain what we were in for with the food and also other dining options available. As a result we plan to try the chefs counter experience at our next visit. Be prepared for a higher valued menu here, but the quality and preparation of the food was worth it.

Came here for a birthday dinner to use my AMEX Resy credit and had a great experience! The Tavern is a solid bistro option in the area with a mean steak and plenty of fresh fish options. They even handled a vegan request for one of our guests perfectly. I tried a special that offers 2oz portions of their signature mains—highly recommend this if you want to sample everything without picking just one dish. The Chicken Saltimbocca was definitely the highlight of the four.

Went here for my pre-birthday dinner and as a first timer, I enjoyed it. My partner got a reservation for us at the bar and it was certainly worth it. Will be back Again. Also, thank you to Dwight for serving us and making great recommendations from apps to entrees. I got the elk with roasted potatoes and my partner had gotten the filet.

I’d had this place on my list for a long time, so I was really excited to finally try it. I came in with an appetite and high expectations, but unfortunately, the food was a big letdown. The meat in all the entrées was surprisingly bland and seemed to rely entirely on the sauces for flavor. Way too overpriced for what you get. We came, we tried, and sadly, we won’t be back.

Hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had! My girlfriend and I came here for Valentine’s day and it was such a great experience! Our waitress, Carmen was excellent and had great menu recommendations. Would request her when we return:) We had the beef tenderloin skewer appetizer, burning man cocktail, scallops, and steak frites. All absolutely outstanding. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu here. We are looking forward to coming back to try more! Worth every penny. Thanks for a great evening

Terrific service, lively ambiance. Appropriately dim lighting, loud but not raucous noise level; not too difficult to have a conversation. Strong cocktails.

The menu has a broad selection although I recommend sticking with seafood. “Medium” filet mignon came nearly well done. The lobster and Alaskan halibut were great, however.

This restaurant does not disappoint! Everything we ordered was top notch, from the drinks to the dessert! Service was also excellent. We rarely go out to eat, so it was so awesome to be thoroughly impressed and not let down in the slightest. Highly recommend!

Wonderful meal with delicious and stunningly beautiful food! High quality comes at a price, but tonight’s dinner was exceptional and the entire family loved it!

We absolutely Love The Tavern. As always the food was just excellent. My only comment on the food was a long and confusing explanation on why my husband’s paella could only have mussels, even though clams were available but they wanted to use up the excess mussels first. The 3rd person who orders the Paella would get both. Don’t do that team! That’s just .. I don’t even know.
Now, the seating experience was ridiculous Friday evening. We had a 5:00 reservation because we were going to see The Doobie Brothers, and the place was nearly empty when we came in. And yet, the hostess took us to the back room to seat us at the deuce on the left that faces the curtain where the food comes in and out. Why?? We were dressed fine. So I asked for something else. Seriously, nearly every table was empty! We follow her back to the hostess station where no less than 4 employees began to confer. Then we were asked if we wanted a high top. No, we’re older and I prefer a normal table. Can we have one of the 3 empty deuces on the wall? Again, we had reservations! Finally she took us to a 4-top near the party room which was great. But honestly it put a pallor on the meal. I guess next time we won’t use Resy and will call in advance and request a certain table. We always spend well on cocktails, wine, appetizers, mains and occasionally dessert. What gives Tavern Management?? (Our waiter was great, the star deduction was the seating situation).
