Breakers has been a Monticello staple for many years. I’ll 100% always support local owned American businesses than chains or foreign owned companies.
But…. Breakers has also declined. I had a coney and fries today. Fries were fresh and crispy. The coney however, was void of flavor. Didn’t taste bad, didn’t taste good. Zero seasoning just canned bland chili, a grey boiled unseasoned dog, and fake cheese. I dare say had I not added jalapeños I wouldn’t have tasted anything.
Service was very friendly and fast. But breakers, if yall can’t find a way to start using better ingredients and training your cooks to SEASON the food yall will go out of business. Just my 2 cents.

I don’t think I have ever had chili that bad, not even from a can in my entire life. You guys know me.I love to try and experience new foods but that is a place I do not think I ever want to go back to 2 experience anything else. The lady completely ignored me when I was talking to get my order together. We waited forever.I expected greatness, as when usually you wait for food…It typically tastes better, not this place. Ten out of ten do not recommend going back again.

Come here from everywhere!! This place always cooks it hot! The food is always great and the waitress are always super nice. Tips these folks they deserve it. Old school drive in feel. Only suggestions is put some picnic tables in the middle. Grape slush is busting also. The freshness of the food is always great. From Biloxi and this place rival some of our best. Monticello stand up yall should be proud of this business.

They have some of the best food you can get..BUT it’s so unprofessional, not customer oriented, and a bad experience every time I go. Zero customer service skills. Since it’s been back open… first experience: 2 separate orders, get them over 30 minutes apart. Second experience: ordered food…. Waited 45 minutes… they come outside and said, “ma’am, we aren’t taking more orders” I told them I ordered almost an hour ago. THEY FORGOT MY ORDER 3rd experience: Never came out with my food, and no one else was there to get food except for people who came AFTER ME. It’s just SAD

What another blast from the past I can remember when there was a Breaker on Dollarway Road in Pine Bluff years ago. The menu building and the service are the same as they were in the 1980’s. I just ordered drinks today and it took about 20 minutes.
