I recently had the pleasure of dining at Morelia Mexican Restaurant in Prince George, Virginia, and let me tell you—it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a fantastic meal.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The chips and salsa were hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, perfectly seasoned chips paired with fresh, flavorful salsa that was just the right balance of spicy and tangy. Every bite was a taste of perfection, and it only got better from there.
The service was equally impressive. My server, Tania, was an absolute rock star! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. Her genuine enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Tania truly went above and beyond, delivering top-notch service with a smile.
If you’re in the area and craving delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine, Morelia Mexican Restaurant is the place to go. Great food, exceptional service, and an overall fantastic dining experience—I can’t recommend it enough!

I ordered lunch for myself and my 1 year old. I had never eaten here before but 10/10. I ordered birria tacos for myself and saw a lunch item for 6.99 your choice of taco, quesadilla, burrito whatever with rice and beans. So I got that for Shorty. ( He eats like a grown man) Now when I got it, I saw the receipt said kids taco which was fine either way but holy cow! That “kids” quesadilla was like half an inch THICK .
Birria tacos were amazing and the baby ate every bite of that giant quesadilla.
Can’t wait to come again!

Morelia is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We are regular customers and love every dish we have tried. Some favorites are the guacamole, birria tacos, and chilaquiles. The staff is phenomenal and made my autistic nephew not only comfortable, but engaged with their care and understanding. Do yourself a favor and stop in today!

I and my wife have been going here for the past year, especially on taco Tuesday, where the tacos are $2usd each. as soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with a warm welcome (something I have not seen in any other restaurant,) The food here is excellent and fast and the service is outstanding! The prices are reasonable as any restaurant (you won’t break the bank here!) There are three waitresses I call the “faithful three!”
That would be Carman, then there is Maria and En-Malinda. All three have given hugs, quick and great service and have taken the time to converse with customer to make them feel at home. 10stars********** If your ever in the Prince George County VA area stop by Morelia, you won’t be disappointed! PS: If you ever want to try something different, try the Morelia bowl. It’s got just about everything you could want in a taco bowl!

This is my go to place when I am craving Mexican food. The food is very authentic. The people are very kind. They have only messed up my food one time and they replaced everything and they let me keep the food that was messed up even though I couldn’t eat it I would recommend this place to anyone but they want some good Mexican food. They get my money every time.

From the moment I walked it the service was great!! The sweet salsa along with the traditional salsa were great!! I asked for the ingredients of the sweet salsa but my waitress wouldn’t divulge … I ordered the Texano burrito as pictured. It was everything I expected and more!! Only problem I had is that I dont live closer !! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I wanna be completely this review but this place genuinely surprised me. We sat down and were instantly received with warm corn chips and TWO salsas we kept a conversation all the way until we ordered. I ordered a quesadilla my sis a fajita and father the pollo Morelia. We received our food quickly (NOTE IT WAS A MONDAY NIGHT) Best Mexican food I have eaten in like 5 years I throughly enjoyed it also they were playing Dile Al Amor so yeah 5 stars. FAIRLY CHEAP TOO!!!

It. Was. Delicious… I feel bad because I’m cheating on my normal spot, but man oh man was it WORTH it. The staff is very warm & friendly. The service was prompt and light hearted. A muy authentic dining area, w/ a beautiful mural across the walls. The food was plentiful, hot and delicious. We had empanads as an appetizer, and they were really good! Nice and crulispy. Great yaste. Wife had surf & turf, could use a little more seasoning but it was cooked perfectly. I had the molle enchiladas, and carnitas dinner, w/ beans and rice. Both were delicious. I also had a Texas Margarita, it was very good. I felt it after the 1st one and I am 210lbs lol. I believe my wife had the Patron margarita, she enjoyed it as well. They also have a kids menu so that is a bonus!! Overall Im looking forward to going back to this place soon. Well worth it and such a great value. I loved it.
