Food was delicious! Place was small and you just seat yourself. Server was great and it was busy on a Monday afternoon. Will definitely stop here again. We had lunch but would like to try breakfast. The burrito was very big and worth the price which was still reasonable. We pass this place when we travel to family in CA and plan on stopping more often.

Had the biscuits and gravy, it was delicious and hearty although a little bland. My partner ordered the verde omelet and it was full of flavor! The atmosphere is really cute and there are fun places to explore nearby. Fair warning they are currently working on their beer license.

We stopped in for lunch on a Friday. There were a couple people seated inside and one couple trying to pay. Their card reader went down, so they were only accepting cash. We sat down and ordered two burgers and fries. Service was fairly quick. The burgers were smaller than I expected for the price. That was a bit disappointing. Several more people showed up in the meantime and it started getting busy. You could tell everyone but us was a local. The restrooms are in a different building located next door. There’s a small area in front that’s motorcycle parking only. It seems like they have a fairly large area for vehicles to park (all gravel lot). I get that it’s historic and in a small town, but it was really nothing special. We definitely wouldn’t be drawn to go back in the future.

so i moved from los angeles about 20 years ago and i been passing through this location ever since and i have to say for some reason i never stopped in here for a bite.. well today i did and i have to say i feel like a fool for not stopping by sooner thr place is super nice the locals are verry friendly the waiter verry helpful and the cook is on point man man man food was delicious the pancakes man they was fire. im def comming back for round 2 and my appologies for not stopping by sooner.

My wife and I ordered chilaquiles and cowboy Benedict the dishes was big and very tasty.

I stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a very clean restaurant. I ordered the mushroom cheeseburger and it was outstanding. They also used fresh mushrooms, way to go management! The couple sitting next to me were eating breakfast, I overheard them saying how good the Huevos rancheros breakfast is. I’ll come by again to try that. The other picture is of the chili Verde omelette I had a few days later.

We stopped in on our way back from Bakersfield. We saw a senior dog wandering the parking lot and were concerned she had been dumped (we heard it was a known dumping ground for unwanted dogs) so it kind of tainted our experience there. We ordered the jalapeño burger and were impressed with the size and spicy flavor. Cute nostalgic place that could probably be enhanced more but it was a good meal. Only one waitress there so she was spread a little thin. (There was no napkins at the table but we went up and got our own). Another nice customer was concerned about the wandering dog and paid the waitress to give the dog some food which they obliged and gave her some eggs, sausage, and water. We didn’t feel right about just leaving the dog there so we took her to get groomed and post to social media. We found the owner and apparently the dog is a senior dog who was almost 13 and wandered from her home. Happy ending and hopefully she won’t get out again.
