Really good overall experience. The restaurant check-in being at the front door was my initial impression. It took about 10 minutes of standing there to get a table, no biggie!!!! However the plethora of cigarette and weed smoke coming in from outside made it kinda awful. We got the $40 eat and play combo. Great deal. While eating, the bus boy cleaning the tables behind us was spraying what smelled like windex on the tables which was nauseating. Oops! Service excellent! Truffle fries cold and soggy, shrimp crispy, fried cheese delicious. I forgive them, they’re new. Games were fun. Dinner for 2 and 200 “chips” for playing games was $97 so it wasn’t too bad at all.

I was so excited for the grand opening of Dave & Buster’s in Santa Rosa, and I was proud to be in the top 100 people to get in! The experience definitely lived up to the hype. My waiter / server Paul was super friendly add had lots to say about the food, menu and services in the experience.
The service was awesome from start to finish friendly, welcoming, and efficient, even with a big crowd. The games are a lot of fun and there’s a great variety for most mature ages and skill levels. The atmosphere is huge, energetic, and spacious. Which makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or bringing a group.
Another big plus is the location, it’s conveniently attached to the mall, so it’s easy to get to and makes for a great stop before or after shopping. Overall, an amazing new addition to Santa Rosa. Highly recommend checking it out! Not to mention experiencing the ribbon cutting and seeing another rare entertainment spot open in the Bay Area is pretty impressive.

First time visiting and impressed.
Thank you Maddie for not only being a great bartender but also all the help with not only drink and food recommendations but also for all the help with how the games work and package options. We had a blast !

In short: This is a great place to have a date night or bring your family, but don’t hang your hat on prizes (which was the biggest bummer for me!). The games are varied and cost between 7-12 credits, so anticipate spending at least $20 per person for a card. There are a variety of games and I can confidently say you can find a game for anyone, even younger kids. It is a lot of fun and a great way to spend a few hours (more if you eat before you play).
* Parking:
Super easy and convenient since you can use the free mall parking garage. Utilize the structure by beer barrel (aka not the one facing Macy’s). The entrance is outside and faces the parking garage, you do not need to go through the mall to enter.
* Arrival/credits:
When we arrived it was expectedly crowded for 8pm on a Friday night. The biggest pain was the bottleneck at the door to purchase credits. They only have 3 kiosks and while you can purchase multiple cards for a group at once, the wait was still about 10 minutes to buy our cards. I hope they add either more kiosks or create a way to buy them online and use your phone like tap-to-play with a play card. If they already have something like that, it wasn’t well advertised.
We spent about $150 for 750 credits split between two cards, which are required to play any games — the kiosks dispense them at purchase if you are arriving, but there are stations around the arcade section to check credits, add more, and check ticket balances.
* Gameplay:
~375/person was a nice amount because we stayed for about two hours and I played almost every game I wanted to, while not being bummed that I ran out or spent too quickly.
There is a great mix of multi player game that dispense no tickets, competitive multiplayer games that reward all players with tickets, and single player games with a potential large jackpot. Most of the multiplayer games that dispense no tickets are shooter games, and they have two car racing games that were functioning when I was there. The ticket-dispensing multiplayer games were mostly sports related.
Quite a few cool games like bowling were broken, and other popular competitive games were very crowded, which we expected for opening weekend. We had no problems finding other fun games while those were occupied, and after one or two laps around to other games those opened up for us to play. Broken games were easy to identify because they had a red ring outline on the electronic payment screen.
We have about 300 credits left over that we plan to use later when hopefully the other games are ready.
* Prize review:
I would expect not to be able to get any cool prizes, as even candy is minimum 150 tickets for little candies, and 500 tickets for a baby bottle pop or nerds rope. Of course the more affordable prizes (aka more reasonable for the type of prize) are the Dave & Busters themed prizes.
I won a jackpot of about 1000 tickets and played a mix of ticket-winning and co-op games, and I only had about 1600 tickets by the end of the night. All of the cute kitschy items were 5000+. Even mini-brands surprise balls were 4,000!
Photos of some popular games with their credit prices attached, as well as one prize wall and the grand prizes with ticket costs.

We had our Daughter’s 12th Birthday here on a Busy Mid Feb. Saturday afternoon from 1-3. A daunting task for foodservice, …10 Sixth graders and 10 adults at one long table, hungry, thirsty, and eager to explore all of the games and fun. Our server nailed it, mostly running drinks for us for 2 hours and was always close for help. Keith the Manager was also very present and greeted me and instantly asked if we could go over things. How refreshing, I knew the rundown right away with how things would go, and I received the cards for the kiddos right away. Food came out for the kids hot and fresh and I was happy to see them annihilate the fruit platter as well. Adult food & drinks were great as well, with just one small hiccup with a plate of food placed on a different party’s table. Keith immediately was out to speak with us, and had a replacement out right away and we were very pleased. Great day, kids were so stoked. I highly recommend adding the $5 per kid to the party package where your card will work for all of the non-ticket-winning games until close of business that day. There was no HEEEEY my card is already all gone… (Hello Epi****** )We will be back, without a doubt. TY D&B’s

We celebrated my son’s 13th birthday at this brand‑new Dave & Buster’s, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The team made the entire process—from planning to the actual event—smooth, organized, and stress‑free.
We booked a private room for the kids, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran seamlessly so the kids could just have fun and enjoy themselves. The food came out on time, the games were a huge hit, and the overall energy of the place was awesome.
For a location that just opened two weeks ago, they’re running things impressively well. Highly recommend this spot for birthdays, parties, or just a fun day out. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I went here on the first Saturday after they opened, and while yes it was very busy and wait times were a bit long, I had great service at the bar. Angie and Mireya were so personable and fun, they made the wait worth it! Will definitely check back in, the drinks are fun and the people are too!

I had a great experience at Dave & Buster’s thanks to our waiter Spencer. He was amazing the whole time we were there. He was super friendly, really funny, and made our table laugh a lot. He checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed and made the whole experience even more fun.
Spencer had a great attitude and clearly enjoys what he does, his humor made the night even better definitely hope to have Spencer as our waiter again next time!

One day I was walking around the mall and was surprised to see a Dave’s and Buster. They opened in just a few moments and my family and I were the first people in. We were planning on eating and playing games to help shake the nerves of a family loss/funeral that afternoon. We were ushered to a table, a tall table. Not quite ideal with a younger family but we made do. Additionally, we were sat directly under a speaker that was playing music loudly, enough we had to speak loud to be heard. Additionally, within the first 10 minutes, the music was then suddenly turned up which caused my anxiety prone daughter to struggle. The waitress very nice and social, friendly, but seemed to get distracted frequently and for periods of time. She would check in and speak with another employee for 15 – 20 minutes before checking the back kitchen for any ready items. All drinks didn’t arrive together, my drink was delayed until after she came back to take our order. Once ordered, we waited 45 – 50 minutes until our food arrived. And not all the food, just the kids. By the time they were done eating, the adults got their food. It was only 4 of us, not a big party. When I expressed frustration, the waitress responded by acknowledging and telling me she didn’t know what was going on. When she brought the bill, what I had ordered was not represented correctly on the bill and the waitress pushed back that it was correct. The thing is, is that when I ordered 2 orders of the wings, I asked if they came with fries, she said no. So I ordered 1 additional side of fries to share between. The bill had the wings accompanied with fries for both sets, and then an additional fries charged. I was paying for more food that I originally ordered, even with asking her clarifying questions and informing her of the reason of my decisions. By the time we were finally done eating and paid, we did not have time to play any of the games which upset the kids. The games and the overall area looked clean and well kept.
We will not be returning.
