Great ingredients, tough on spice

Quality and flavors are genuinely good. Samosa chaat and aloo chaat came out much spicier than requested — worth noting if you’re sensitive. Thank goodness we ordered the mango lassi for our little one — total lifesaver! Service was pleasant. Would love to come back once the kitchen can dial down the heat on request!

What a gem, and so close to home!

What a delicious meal we had last night! We tried several dishes, and every single one had bold, rich flavor—each tasting completely unique. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you can smell the amazing spices in the air, and everyone greets you so kindly. You can see the kitchen as you walk in, which I personally love because it feels so welcoming and authentic, like being invited into someone’s home for a lovingly cooked meal.

AK, one of the owners, was incredibly kind and patient. He explained the menu to us, and even though a couple of us had food restrictions, he helped us navigate everything with ease. Absolutely everything we ate was delicious. We even watched other dishes go by to other tables, and those looked incredible too! We’re already excited to come back and bring more friends. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing, so everyone gets to taste a bit of everything.

We also had the pleasure of meeting AK’s nephew, Raúl, who will be opening his own restaurant, Tikka Drive in Chandler, hopefully by mid-June 2026. It was wonderful hearing about his passion and goals. We know it will be a success because Namaste is truly the best Indian restaurant we’ve ever been to—and we’ve tried many across the country!

I will definitely return to this wonderful family-owned and family-run restaurant.

This is the first time my husband and I visited Namaste, and we will definitely be back. The Aloo Matar was fresh and delicious. The lamb vindaloo was lean and the portion just right. Drink refills were prompt and the staff attentive and friendly.

We went here for the first time on 11/8/25 for dinner. We ordered the chicken makhani and chicken tikka masala with 2 sides of naan, it was nice that the basmati rice was included. I really loved the chicken makhani it had good flavor and was still a little bit spicy when mild which was enough. The naan was nice and fresh. Overall a good spot in Scottsdale comparable to my normal spot in Goodyear. Ordering 1 dish would be enough to split with 2 people order more if you want leftovers. Naan is always best fresh. The kitchen is open to the dining area so you can watch them cook if you want to but it does make the place warm.

I really dig this place. For me, around the valley and I have tried a # of them, this is the best Indian choice to make. It’s family owned, and even this time when I dined, the server (who is the son and works the front of the house) took an interest in me, what I had brought to the table to work on while I ate. It’s cool that someone makes the time to notice you, as that is lacking all around us these days. The food? I enjoy it a lot. In candor, I have found the masala-based dishes to be on the heavier side, more creamy than I like. I tend to prefer more tomato in the base, so tonight I decided to go with the yellow lentils. What a great dish. The seasoning was managed very well, the heat just right. The mango lassi–terrific. The service is quick, the inside of the restaurant just big enough to feel cozy. You can watch them cook, as the stoves and prep area are right there near the tables. Just a great experience, and one I will keep supporting as I come back to Scottsdale multiple times a year.

This is hands down the best Indian restaurant in Arizona. I have been to dozens in many cities and towns, and I can decidedly say that Namaste is the #1 Indian cuisine you will find in Arizona. My friends, family, and myself have eaten here many times since they opened and every time we do their food is consistently the best we have had. They serve North Indian cuisine and bring the most authentic flavors and dishes to the valley. Incredible flavors from common, and uncommon, dishes that will blow you away. Anyone can find something to eat here, even if you have dietary restrictions. The portions are generous and every meal comes with white rice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you order the Tava Paratha as your bread of choice (it is thin, slightly doughy, slightly salty, crispy, and is an incredibly delicious alternative to naan), unless you really want a traditional Naan then get the garlic naan. The butter chicken (or tikka masalas, kormas, paneers, coconut curry, goat curry, samosas, mango lassie, roti, etc.) is the best you will ever have, and honestly this can be said about every menu item, it would be redundant to name them all. The Sahota Family is creating and cooking Indian food better than anyone else. They can vary the spice level from no spice, mild, medium, hot, and chef hot (only for the bravest), on a scale of 1-10. The owners operate the restaurant every day, are incredibly nice, and are gracious hosts to their guests. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! 10/10!

Truly exceptional Indian cuisine and service. The food is delicious, so fresh and made right there in the kitchen by a wonderful family.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with the most wonderful smile from the owners son, seated promptly and served an incredibly delicious meal…accompanied by Indian beer. This was more than a 5 star experience.
We’ve had Indian food around the world, and this is truly the best we’ve ever experienced stateside.
The vegetable samosas, poppadoms, and naan’s, were fresh and homemade. The samosas were the freshest and most delicious we’ve had in years.
Our chicken saag was exceptional along with the very tasty chicken tikka masala.
We wish we could bring this restaurant to Redondo Beach/Los Angeles with us. An absolute treat on our first day of vacation in the Arizona desert. Will definitely return and recommend.
First class!
