We saw an influencer post about Colori and decided to come, and it exceeded our expectations thoroughly!
Come here for the food, stay here for the atmosphere. They’re family owed and make you feel like part of the family.
The atmosphere is a very intimate setting. The location can be easily missed but once you step into the restaurant, you are graciously greeted by a member of this Italian family-owned establishment. The husband (owner) is the chef, and wife, Paola (other owner) along with son, Dylan handle the front of the restaurant. Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Paola definitely the brings authentic Italian flare to this beautiful, quaint, and intimate dining experience.
We were able to try a couple of their homemade desserts, of which I remembered to takes pictures, and were both delicious. If I had to pick one, though, I’d say the Canolis are my pick…and I live for a Tiramisu. Their Tiramisu was also very good, however, the Canolis took the W this time.
All in all, everyone needs to visit this establishment. The food is amazing, the customer service is top notch, and the establishment is authentic Italian-family owned.
Everything was delicious. We saw positive reviews of the sausage appetizer, and it didn’t disappoint. The server mentioned that the pumpkin ravioli would be sweet, and she was NOT exaggerating. I ate all of the ravioli, but did leave wishing I had something more savory – it was almost like a dessert. I went in thinking I would get cannolis for dessert, but there was no need after the ravioli. Last time we were here, I had the mushroom risotto, which I found to be more balanced.
We got there right as they opened for dinner. Got to meet the owner and his son and they made us feel like guests in their home.
EVERYTHING was delicious. And the portion sizes were just perfect.
The free bread was fresh and warm. My dad and I ate through 2 baskets within 5 minutes. We got the Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti Aglio & Olio both with added chicken. They tasted divine. We couldn’t resist ordering dessert. The Tiramisu was good but the Flan was absolutely ‘perfecto,’ as my dad said.
The staff were all very polite and customer service was top notch. The owner and his son made sure to chat with all the tables and really seemed to care for their guests.
Overall, absolutely blew my expectations out of the water and I will definitely be back!
We returned in March 2018 and I’m happy to say that the quality is still excellent.
