Place was decent. Had the same and eggs with sourdough toast. The waitress said the ham was kinda thin so I orederd an extra piece. Sure was glad I did. The ham was sliced thinner than bologna. Had flavor but thiiiin. The German potatoes were good needed, a little more cook time for my liking but overall ok meal. Waitress was attentive and answered our questions.

I’m not sure if they have changed owners but we ate there yesterday and the food was terrible. I ordered over easy eggs and the whites were super runny, the hash browns were over seasoned and the bacon tasted like it had gone bad. Our waitress took our order, brought our food and never came back. Coffee was $3 and we never were offered a refill. I hesitated leaving a review because we have gone to Hugo’s for years, but my husband and both got very sick yesterday and I’m pretty sure it was the food. I am sad because I don’t think we will ever go back and we have so many memories here.

The food is great. Perfect homey-diner. Only reason I gave it a little less stars bc the prices have gone up a lot. But thats bscause of new ownerships and remodels. But its still worth it.

I am sure that at one time this was a booming place. Last time I came here was about 17 years ago and it seems like this place was frozen in time.
What happen to the food?
The burger I had left me a lot to desire. Cold buns, the meat was lacking flavor; salt and pepper does the job usually. The fries were bad. So bad that I simply left half of the on the plate.

As Jenks becomes more and more affluent in the area, Hugos place is not really contributing to the positive influence. The tables and chair are old and drafty; just the whole thing could really use a redo or update. The bathrooms were just as drafty as the rest of the restaurant.

If you guys loose your only thing left you have which is your long time costumers and you dont acquire more, this could be bad for your restaurant’s future.

Our waitress was amazing. Great attitude, great service! If you leave hungry and disappointed, that’s your own damn fault!

I have heard nothing but great things about this place and was so excited to try it. I was not disappointed! Great food, great portions, excellent service, and prices! Our server was so sweet, our food came out quickly, and was hot and delicious! I had the French Toast combo and it may have been the best French Toast I have had at a restaurant. It was the perfect amount of food and the French Toast was so flavorful! I highly recommend Hugo’s for a delicious breakfast!

I’m thinking this is Rubicon Restaurant when I look at the pictures it seem like it’s in the same building but it’s picking up in Google as Hugo Family Restaurant instead of Rubicon I had an Awesome experience The cashier lady I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name was very friendly and knowledgeable I wanted the hotlink brisket and chicken baked potato and I was also hesitant about the bologna and she gave me a sample with some barbecue sauce I was not disappointed it was tasty and flavorful I will try a bologna sandwich next time my potato with huge and meaty I could only eat one third of it I’m saving the rest you also get a side salad and toast which you don’t get at majority of the potato restaurants needless to say I will definitely be back in will recommend family and friends see you next time Rubi

Small place, Great food! We had to wait for a table, but after we got our food, we knew why it was worth the wait. Delicious!

I had the immense pleasure of eating at Hugos on Saturday. It was amazing for someone who’s never been there before, and it was a real treat. The service was excellent. The food was high quality. And the coffee was surprisingly delicious. I will definitely be back more than once, oh yes and I hope to get to try their biscuits and gravy. It’s only limited availability cause it’s homemade, it was already out but I look forward to trying it.
