But the service was pretty bad. They were not that busy.
Our waiter took 10 minutes to even get us drinks and asked if we wanted chips .
Others were getting drinks and chip refills and she just kept ignoring us.
Finally she took our order and our food came out very quickly. Our server did not bring it as she was busy attending to everyone else but us. Her three other tables.
She checked on us once asked us how the food was and we had not even taken a bite. .
Our drinks never filled, others left others came getting sat right away with chips and drinks right away, as we sat and sat for 10 minutes before having to call another server to help us because our just did not want to serve us I guess.
Finally got our boxes she left the card reader with us never coming back to get it or say thank u. We waited another 5 minutes as she helped everyone else. We finally just got up and left. I hate just leaving those devices since they are so expensive but she clearly had no interest in coming back.
Food was so good though hard to say if we will go back because spending an hour and a half on the server to seat us take order and allow us to leave seems a little extreme in my eyes.
You get a massive amount of food for ur money, I ate less than half and I’m a big girl
That all aside this remodeled restaurant and location is excellent. Well done and similar to Buckets with TVs located above all around the restaurant. There is a large bar in the middle surrounded by seating for dining customers.
The food and service we had was top notch and greatly appreciated in comparison to other local offerings on the peninsula. Easily a top 5 in the area. I just hope that they can maintain this quality on a permanent basis.
I know I will be returning again soon looking forward to another quality experience.
Okay so it seems that my aforementioned post is a one-off . We ventured back in yesterday for a much anticipated wonderful experience as before. No such luck!!
The atmosphere has not changed, but from there it has severely dropped off the deep end.
It all started off with trying the Blooming Onion in the appetizer menu. Simple enough? It was undercooked and there was raw batter everywhere throughout the product. No offers to refund or replace the item….really?!?!
Okay I was really looking forward to another beautiful rib eye, like I had in the prior visit to make up for the bloomin onion tragedy. I requested the same medium rare and they brought me a steak that was 1/4” thick and cooked beyond “Well Done” (I’m talking literally like shoe leather.!!). The server offered to have them cook another one, but I politely declined fearing that there is no way they could improve on that blatant misadventure. There’s a big difference between medium rare and overdone well done. Thinking back to the bloomin onion and now this, there is a big red flag saying somebody back there doesn’t have a clue about what they are doing. At this point I won’t even go into the garlic mashers I got. What a poor experience!!
Go figure… at this point I walked out of there still hungry and 86 dollars lighter. I guess this means they stand by their poor quality food and I will definitely share my experience whenever I get the opportunity!! That may be a rather expensive overcooked meal they will ever dole out at that price. Ohh wait. The onion was undercooked. Maybe they confused the onion for the steak or some other version of a misunderstanding. I know there was no misunderstanding when it came to being charged for it.
Be wary and roll the dice if you want to try this place out. I’m sure that word will travel fast in this small town and business will dry up real quick
We had the fajita salad and the al pastor burger. Both were great. Will definitely be back to try more. We
If you look closely in the photo, there’s a cord plugged into an outlet that disappears into a wall.
I know they’re new and hope they fix the kinks of the inconsistent and long drink waits and bad service. I’m a basic cheese enchilada girl but they don’t have any on the menu so I ended up with Mozzarella sticks with one thick cup of marinara. I ordered the blackberry margarita which had no flavor but tequila while sucking chunks of blackberry snot balls up the straw. Another person in our group got the same margarita and said it was so sweet it was undrinkable. The waitress lacked any service aspect and never checked on our group of 7 unless we waved her down. There was zero consistency with our drinks which took way too long (45 mins for 6 tequila shots in an airplane). The waitress shoved a credit card terminal in our face and said here’s the bill which is just a total (no itemized bills) with options for 20%, 25%, 30% or custom tips. This was very uncomfortable as she held it the whole time watching. Between the margarita, mozzarella sticks, 20% tip I paid $36. After our group left we realized some people were way over charged but she wouldn’t give out any receipts and the bill was not itemized. Some of the over charge was with the airplane shots which we got charged 4 additional at $9e we couldn’t figure out the rest of the overages.
Again I hope they get the kinks out but with all the factors and how expensive it was I don’t recommend and won’t be back.
Margarita tasted amazing, could’ve had a bit more kick to it but there was enough to notice.
Only negative thing I have to say is, there bacon (not sure if it was bacon bits or made in house) that they used on there sol agave fries had a very unique flavor to it that me an the wife didn’t care for much, if your big on that orginal bacon flavor I’d watch out for that.
Nevertheless a great restraunt
