Narrative offers a pleasant dining experience overall. The ambience is warm and inviting, making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was attentive and friendly, which we really appreciated. The food, however, was fairly plain and nothing particularly memorable. While everything was prepared well, there wasn’t anything that truly stood out. Overall, a decent place for the atmosphere and service.

Narrative, located inside The Jacquard Hotel in Cherry Creek, delivers an excellent dining experience with a fall menu that is both creative and accessible. The shrimp cocktail, tartare trio, and smashed burger were all highlights, but the cookies and cream dessert was truly memorable, perfectly baked and incredibly satisfying. The tomato tartare was another surprising standout.
The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere feels refined yet comfortable. Whether you are celebrating something special or simply looking for a great dinner in Cherry Creek, Narrative is a fantastic choice.

Narrative is tucked away in the Cherry Hills shopping district. The food was fantastic and flavorful, cool vibe and our server, Camryn was an absolute delight!
Our favorites were the shrimp cocktail with verde sauce ( unique ), the baratta with pear chutney and arugula to start. The “pink pony club” cocktail was perfect. Then for dinner we each tried something different- Halibut, salmon, and short rib. All cooked perfectly how we ordered and so yummy! Our favorite dessert was the sticky toffee pudding!

Beautiful restaurant with exceptional service that matches the quality of food. Came here for lunch with my mother-in-law and she was super impressed. I had the bahn mi, which was served on a Dutch crunch hero with really flavorful pork and a bit of heat. The gals both had the squash soup which was not too sweet and looked really cool when pouring it onto that potato stamped out leaf. Took a few bites of the smash burger, which I could have devoured if I wasn’t already so full. Definitely get the homemade milk bread (looks like Hawaiian rolls). Super fluffy and served with this creamy butter. Definitely coming again when I’m in the cherry creek neighborhood.

Had the BLT toast and breakfast tacos. Visually it looks nice however the toast was completely burnt underneath. The toast and the pork belly were hard like a rock. Also the toast was stacked tall which made it very hard to eat. Taste were meh for both. Wait time was slightly long.

Finally, I found somewhere in Cherry Creek worth a good review. And to my surprise, it was a restaurant… inside a hotel.
We typically avoid hotel restaurants especially, since they often feel boxed in and designed to appeal to everyone, which can make the food feel untrustworthy or uninspired. Narrative completely changed that perception.
While nothing immediately called out to us as a must-order full plate, we thoroughly enjoyed sampling a variety of tapas along with a salad. The tapas were delicious overall, though we did notice that quite a few items were fried. we’d love to see a bit more balance on the menu.
The standout for me was easily the lamb chop lollipops absolutely fantastic. The pork was flavorful as well, though it was very fatty and served in large chunks, which felt a bit less elegant than expected.
Service was excellent: minimal but attentive, and they truly allowed us to enjoy our time without interruption. And I can’t forget the mocktail it was divine.
All in all, I’d absolutely return to Narrative and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet relaxed dining experience in Cherry Creek.

This is a modern and airy space, but the food is just ok for a high end hotel restaurant. We enjoyed the fresh rolls and as a butter connoisseur of good butter, it had a great texture, but could have used some flake salt. The main entrees weren’t bad, they just didn’t stand out, especially for the price. Service was friendly and prompt.
