In need of delicious food and a bartender with the driest wit? Look no further than this little gem. Walk-in couple for dinner on a cold February night. We were met with warm hospitality by the hosts, cold drinks and hot food. Can’t get any better than that…hold on! You can be sat at the bar with K.Leigh and share former theatre kid stories and cut up on Robin Williams stand-up and agree that the Florida West Coast is preferred to the East Side. Food and Service A++. Alison commented that the burger was easily a Top 5 all-time. My Brussels, Beet Salad And Lobster Hush Puppies dinner was perfectly random and I will order again and again. Thanks to the great team and our favorite Stage Manager/Lead Actor, K.Leigh!

Excellent service by Lizzie! We had the Airline chicken, which was amazing. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also had the New York strip, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. The veal Demi glaze on the steak was sooooo good! We also had the ciabatta bread with the Parmesan, & herb oil and fried Brussels for appetizers. Both were excellent. Five stars all the way & very reasonably priced

Reservations recommended for a reason. It is a popular spot and the food is amazing.

We had the Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer. Fried but not greasy. The bitter sprout pairs well with a balsamic glaze and crisp bacon bits. This is not your mom’s boiled Brussels. These are WAY better.

I had the filet and corn risotto. Steak was melt in your mouth perfectly cooked, no seasoning or butters were needed to enhance anything about this. I’m a fan of corn and the corn risotto was on point. Not too sweet but just enough to pair well with my steak.

My husband had the NY strip and upon first glance he said it looked like a lot of disappointment (steaks he has had in the past). It was ANYTHING but disappointing, he ate every bite with a smile and moan. The asparagus had a salty seasoning that made it the best asparagus we have had in a while.

We finished off dinner with the highly recommended and coveted apple crumble bread pudding. It came with a scoop of ice cream and reminded me of the best apple French toast. Warm bread melting the ice cream makes you want to sop this up like biscuit and gravy.

Friday nights come with live music in the upstairs bar area. We enjoyed the talents of the singer and the noise level was to be expected with a live singer. No complaints here.

Krissy our waitress was on time with everything and she made wonderful suggestions.

The best part of visiting a new place is the experience of good food and company. This is among the top of our happy to have been there places.

We stopped on the way back home after a day of hiking the Appalachian Trail and associated routes. The food was amazing, and the staff was superb! We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super busy taking care of drinks for the entire restaurant, keeping organized and on top of not only drink service, but also food orders from the bar. Everything was spot on…quality ingredients prepared perfectly, and plated beautifully. My Panko Pan Seared trout was delicious, and my friend said her Duroc Pork Chop was the best pork chop she ever had! We have already marked Butcher and Bottle as our must-do stop every time we hike!

We had dinner here for the last evening of our vacation and this was certainly the place for a date night. Very cool ambiance, great service and excellent food. Would highly recommend as a date night or special occasion place. A bit pricey but less than other major cities for a date night eatery. Will absolutely eat here again.
I removed one star from atmosphere because it was such a popular place, it was actually noisy for my style (desired an intimate dinner for two).

Busy little place so make reservations if you know it might be a busy time but oh my goodness was the food delicious! I wish I could remember names lol but our waitress was so sweet! Highly recommend the seafood pasta. The amount of lobster was perfect and the scallops were cooked perfect!

What a cozy little place! Highly recommended with wonderful service and an imaginative menu! Kudos to the chef who created the dishes. My gnocchi was amazing and hit the spot after a long cold day. I’ll be back!

The raw oysters were great! My husband wished he had got two dozen.
Drinks were good and not skimpy. The grapefruit goblet was delicious.
Great meals as well.
Haley our server was beyond suburb!

We love this restaurant. We typically sit at the bar, but were dining with friends and got a table. Catherine is a wonderful server, and kept us entertained throughout our meal. Our guests were very impressed when our two favorite bartenders, Lizzy and Kaylee stopped by the table to say hello. We love Kaylee’s dry sense of humor, and she and Lizzy handle the crowded bar with efficiency and ease. They make a mean martini! The fig old fashioned is excellent, and I had it for dessert. The food here is always good, and the desserts divine. This is my favorite restaurant in Ellijay!

We were kinda forgotten about upstairs. Food came out after ages and was cold. Sent it back to the microwave. Wouldn’t suggest based on our experience but maybe you might have better luck downstairs.
